Sounds like mine.

I have two twists and i had laying around a charger from my eGo-T tank system (650mAh as well) and 5 hours seems like a pretty standard charging time.

Also, I purchased another charger that is "for" the eGo-c Twist and it takes the same time to charge as the old charger (yep, they are identical).

edit: i always use my PC's usb ports.

The charger for the Twist should have an output of 420 mA. My 1000mAh Twist takes about 3 hours for a full charge. Double check the output of your charger. You may also want to get a wall adapter since your USB may be limiting the charge.

But Yeah, get another Twist, for sure!

Enjoy!

Yeah, my charger has same output but I'm going to get another wall charger as mine died.
Thanks for your input......

I have a USB charger that I got for the original ego.
Cannot believe but it takes about 5-6 hours to charge from my computer!!!!
Is that normal?

My original 650mAh battery from 2 years ago takes about 3 hours.

Hi Charlie...the batteries are fine so is the charger, the problem is with the PC power, I have had the same issue myself, it seemed ages to get the twists charged, laptops would charge them much faster..but my best solution came with a higher mah wall adapter...u need to check the mah reading on the adapter before buying anything between 500-700mah on the adapter is ideal...u'll notice ur batteries getting charged up in exactly half the time, than it takes now..... :)

Happy vaping

i just got my twist in yesterday and the battery was fully drained. it only took about an hour to charge off my laptop. im not sure if the laptop matters or whether you use usb 3.0 or 2.0, or if it was just my charger.

Hi Thomas...One hour sounds a little too quick to be true, they generally come partially charged...could it be, that the batteries came locked with the 5 clicks, cause once you screw them to the charger the lock would automatically open, either way do let us know the subsequent charging times. I have a hunch it will take longer

I recently ordered Twists and they were locked on arrival. I think they were likely about 70% charged because they charged up pretty fast on my computer's USB 3.0 port.

As for having multiples, even though I'm not a heavy vaper, I kind of like having a couple batteries. Easy to keep them charged, plus I had fun last night having two different flavors going without having to swap them out. The Twist batteries are pretty cheap so that's not hard to do.

Computer issue huh? I was leaning that way so I'll grab a wall charger then, thanks so much!
