the next batch coming we are assured will not have the breakdown/cracking issues.

That's wonderful news. :toast: Are you able to tell us what type of plastic (I assume) these will be made from? Polypropylene or delrin? Will they be the clear or the opaque/frosted plastic?

Please don't say it is a thicker polycarbonate like I've seen touted by some distributors. Just because you make it thicker doesn't mean the offensive chemicals won't break down the plastic...it might just take a little longer to do so.

We should start a list of juices that we know don't crack the clearos.

It would actually be easier to do a list of juices that do damage polycarbonate, and there is already one here and on the ECF forums.

I was just browsing in the tank section and found an interesting link. A well known ecig distributor actually posted a relatively lengthly fact statement about polycarbonate having issues with certain e-liquids. I found this to be amusing (not in a funny way) as most distributors seem to want to avoid the issue altogether, or at most take a defensive position with just a "buyer beware" blanket statement that using any such liquids will void their product warranty. Here is a distributor who at least is admitting that the issue exists and goes to the trouble to list what liquids to avoid.

I know about that list. It seems to be ever growing. So many of these smaller vendors are adding stuff that shouldn't be in the juice to begin with

I am thinking the same thing. I vape spearmint from vapedudes. I haven't used it in a clearo because I don't want to crack it so I use it in fluxomizers. I have been told that the Tpa spearmint flavor will crack them and that's the flavoring I have for DIY.

Good thing is the next set of clearomizers that smokeless image is getting in will not be made with poly and won't have the cracking issues. At least that's what they have in their forum
