E-juice Plus announces a healthier juice for Electronic cigarettes

I'm sure this will raise an eyebrow at the FDA

"E-juice Plus is adding Ganoderma to the blend; Ganoderma is the extract of the mushroom Ganoderma Lucidum. In Traditional Chinese Medicine this mushroom is valued for it’s over 400 bioactive compounds such as triterpenoids and polysaccharides which have been used in Asian medicine for over 4000 years. These bioactive compounds are renowned for its support of healthy liver function, reducing hypertension, anti-cancer effects and are used to promote longevity. As is the case with many botanicals, the exact beneficial compounds present in Ganoderma Mushrooms are not definitively known at this time but research continues."

you know, there are companies that sell lemon mint saying that it helps clean sinuses, and watermelon something saying i helps wakeup your tastebuds. That is pretty legit. Some companies have sold liquids with caffiene in them, but I have read that it is pretty much impossible to get a "buzz" from vaping caffiene... and I swear that i have seen other sites add ginseng and other good things into the liquids....

Not sure I would want to inhale mushrooms. Doesn't sound very healthy or tasty.
Haven't you heard ... Inhaling nicotine is bad for ya.

The press release appears to have been carefully written to not make any therapeutic claims about the new product, so I don't envision an FDA warning letter for violating the FDCA.

Also, while brand advertisements are "commercial speech" subject to FDCA enforcement, press releases are typically considered political speech (that have greater protection under the US Constitution).

:ohmy:E-Cigarettes may contain ingredients that are known to be toxic to humans. Because clinical studies about the safety of e-cigarettes have not been submitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), you have no way of knowing:

If they are safe
Which chemicals they contain
How much nicotine you are inhaling

Your tax dollars at work.
