You can't purchase extra attys by themselves, only with trade in.

Some areas say manufactured here and some only say assembled and tested here. Who knows, maybe she's independently wealthy and took a sudden interest in PVs, but I don't think so. Something just seems off to me.

You can buy the batteries from the innovationinsmoking? web site for $50each or from the kiosk stores for $35.00. According to the tech dude at eLight in Arizona, this unit is a bit bigger then a 501, and is made in the USA, and has better microprocessor, and blah blah blah. It's my first e-cig and it's ok compared to nothing I've tried before. (It's my only e-cig for the moment).

Customer support is great, sent me a free atty and bat when I called to complain, and the kiosk place gave me another new atty with trade in. 2yr warranty on batteries and 60 day on the attys. I'll write a formal reiew when I can.

Update: Since getting the 501, the eLight Elite from Innovative Smoking is a piece of junk. I had to revisit their web site after a month of not using mine and laughed at their claims. Scammers... Saying a cart will last as long as a pack of sigarettes... pfffft. I still thank them for getting me hooked on e-smoking!

Cheers,
Dude
