I keep trying new juices because I hear great things about them and it almost never works out. Thankfully I always start with samplers, but my reject pile has become huge! I got all four of the ivape tobaccos in the mail today and one of them MIGHT be vapeable after steeping. I got The Plume Room's trio, and I think one of those might be vapeable. I got a Johnson Creek trio and it should've been called Johnson Buttcrack. I swear I need to just quit trying new stuff and just stick with HHV. I'm just looking for a tobacco that I can't describe and I'll know it when I vape it but I am dropping a ....-ton of money looking for it. Sorry for the rant, I'm just getting a lil frustrated here.

Hehe, yes indeed.

It might cost ya a little more - I've tried well over 150 flavors in the 18 months I've been vaping. That number would have doubled had I the funds, and if I didn't find a juice that I can vape all day, every day (Boba's Bounty).

In the long run, unless you just want to keep going, it's probably better to stick with what you love. If you love HHV, stick with 'em. Anything that works to keep you away from smoking. That is, after all, the point :)

But, if you find this to be a nuisance, trying new flavors to no avail... and I hate to be that guy to say this... you could always delve into the DIY realm, and conjure up a juice to your liking. I'm planning on doing this someday, when I can afford the initial setup (only because I wish to start up with a plethora of flavorings... which isn't 100% necessary).

I love the HHV stuff and I find that there are similarities between their base and AVE, especially Boba's. I find them both to be a little pipey and they both change and get a lot better with steeping. I know that Boba's is constantly being recommended to people, but you might like it. I really like their 555 too. AVE should be taking orders again soon - don't think they have a sampler though.

Vermillion River will send you a 4.5ml sample for the cost of shipping, $2 or so. I got a sample of the Kentucky Premium and love it. They are another well-liked tobacco line. Good luck!

Welcome to the club! LOL, I have some I can't stand, some that are just meh, and a very few I love. I am done buying new ones for a while since I do have some I love, but I just got a free sample and found another great one! So of course bought it.

I have so many sitting around now I am going to just vape what I have, buy more of the few I like and when my stash lessons start trying out more... some companies I just can't tolerate any of their juices. At least I am learning, and I am not smoking cigarettes so it isn't all a waste.

If you weren't so frustrated, I would say try GoodeJuice's Vita Bella, Patriot, and/or Natural Perique. Vita Bella falls into that hard to describe, but fun trying to describe vape. GooedJuices prices are quite low, they sell small bottles and will send you a sample upon request. My point is, you can try them without breaking the bank. :2c:

p.s. What are you digging from HHV?

Thanks for all the recs! I will be ordering more, so I appreciate it. From HHV, I love Dragon's Fire, though only occasionally because I seem to grow immune to its flavor if I vape it too often (and I am not a heavy vaper, less than a ml a day, usually). I like Gandalf, Huntsman, Oompa and Jiggy as well, but in small doses. I've ordered some of their non-tobacco flavors as well and will post about them once I receive them. :)

I like Johnson Creek. I vape the hell out of that. But only select flavors. I don't like all of them. Far from it. What flavors did you try that made you think it tasted like ....?

I will make a deal with you on GeJ: Depending on what you order and the amount, if you are unsatisfied, I will buy those off of you enabling you to buy without pressure up to $20 and no lower nic than 12mg. I would still recommend those that I already stated, but I would like to talk to you further to do a little more digging. Maybe just go with Natural Perique and Vita Bella to start with. Patriot is awesome, but I am not sure if it is quite your profile based on what you have already stated. GeJ's extracts are a little less "other" and more tobacco...but very good IMO.

How about a review of those three flavors Mr. Mann? Give us some details about vape production, throat hit, and flavor components. I'm looking at Goodjuice's webpage now just for grins.

Reviews? Uhh...I generally only do reviews when the inspiration hits me--pretty much like how I make my art. I rarely just sit down and type it up--I have to put on a separate hat to get into that frame of mind. However, I will do Vita Bella today or tomorrow.

Well, if you feel strong enough about Goodjuice liquids to offer the man up to $20 in guarantee exchanges then I think a quick summary of the juices would be a good idea. I'm not looking for an in-depth analysis..just an idea of what I could expect and what seperates these juices from others. I looked at the Goodjuice page and I agree with you to the extent that they have interesting tobacco juices. Of course, I never tried them but admittedly you have piqued my interest.

I received a sample of their's yesterday. Tobacco Menthol Beta testing. Nice size bottle shipped quick, but sadly I don't like the taste at all. I put up a review on their sub-forum but it pretty much says what I just stated.

I don't know about you guys, but I have had the tendency to be compulsive-obbsessed with things. If I find something I like then I jump in with both feet to exploit it at the expense of widening my range. Smoke juice easily falls into that trap. And since I began vaping, I vowed not to be compulsive-obsessive. I'm working very hard at trying to keep an open mind and try new things. I haven't been able to extend this to all flavor categories yet. For example, I have a wall up about fruits and dessert flavors. I do have a peach flavor (because I love apricots) that is relegated to a "once-in-a-while" vape. Beyond that, I am a tobacco guy but willing to try lots of different tobaccos. So this is why I'm going on a sampler blitzkreig in the next month to find a small rotation of flavors I really like. Perhaps after that is established, I'd be more willing to look at other categories of smoke juice. Not sure if this is a typical path for most. But that's what I'm doing. Vendors make it easier to do when they offer affordable sample packs.
