I was thinking there would probably be another delay on the SS at Apollo and I was just going to cancel my order so I e mailed them and they replied with this.

We are receive our first 200 units of stainless steel Vtubes by 4/22 and the second shipment by 4/30. You should expect to receive your stainless steel Vtube by the 1st-2nd week in May (depending on your location)

I will believe it when it is in my hand. I won't badmouth them, it was a preorder...BUT this is worse for delays than a blizzard game or a Resident Evil movie

I canceled my order today... If I'm going to wait, I might as well wait for the new higher amp version... While the stainless does look pretty awesome, I decided that I was going to for better technology then better appearance...

I feel you on that one. I have a regular and a mini with a regular stainless ordered from apollo. I too am gonna wait to buy any others when 2.0 comes out.

I got my 1.5 today from Penny and it works great. The resistance reading is the main thing I was interested in and it works very good!

Hey guys I just looked at the link above. Do aw imr 18650s work for the SS from apollo? That site says the one they have won't work with them. That concerns me cause those are what I bought for it

The IMR 18650 is the correct battery!

Actually Dana there is abetter battery than the AW IMR 18650 HIGH DRAINS! Yeah that statement confused me too.

I have AW 18650 batteries that work just fine on my Lavatube. But the batteries I use right now are the Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mAh. If you ever need more batteries for your LT, grab a couple of those.

They are IMO better performers than AW and in some instances, cheaper to buy.
