So, heres everything we are going to need: 2 straight smoking pipes (such Billiard form helps to avoid problems with a mouthpiece), one with the 9 mm filter, and another one with cooler. Tooling: drill, soldering iron, vise, 2 ml syringe, Forstner drill, two 510 battery plugs, wire, etc. Everything in the picture. And two shells of 12 calibers (not for shooting!).

The diameter of tobacco chamber of a "standard" a pipe is usually 18-21 mm. But the depth and especially the form of the bottom does not allow you to place the battery conveniently. And now we have to thank mister Forstner who invented the bit for creating dead hole.
Gently but strongly, using a silicone mat, grip the pipe in a vise. Check the horizontal. Now lets drill with Forstners help. The purpose - pass the level of the air duct, but not drill through. Carefully select the pipe; the depth of the tobacco chamber is very important, theres may be not second chance.
Expanding air duct with 5 mm drill, then extend the 2 wires through that hole.
The next step - expand the hole for the connector in the pipe with a cooler. Carefully! For the pipe with 9 mm filter just use glue and a piece of 2ml syringe.
All this about solgering, wireing, and another "...ing"
And the button! The bottom of shell of 12 calibers, jeans button and the spring!
