Ive read alot about people having issues with the epower button assemblies and cartos failing to fire up....
Mine is a bit tempermental and have experienced this from time to time but it always straightens itself out.
it seems more prone to this problem when throwing a brand new carto on the device,
after exclusively refilling and reusing my resurector cartos ive had no problems untill today when I opened a new lr ressurector.... filled it with some juice.... popped a 3.5ml tank on it, and filled the tank up...
got the dreaded flashing light/ no fire, checked everything was tight no fire, changed battery no fire, changed switch assembly no fire...
my epower came with 2 switch assemblies , the old white led with 5 click on and off feature, and the new blue one thats suppossed to resolve previous button issues...
neither worked...
after getting ...... and trying everything I took the battery body off and wiped off/out the threads and noticed a bit of black residue wiped off...
It fires and works fine now... I dont know if repeated removing and screwing on the bat tube creates a metal powder that messes with a good ground connection between the housing and switch or what, but anyone having this problem could give this a try... worked for mine..... for now anyway =/
Im thinking I better get a VV fri and demote the epower to a backup pv just in case
