I am looking at an E-power ecig. i have never used 510 only 808 and need help.

Can I get 510 cartomizers for these (do not wish to use atomizer)?
Can I get a tank cartomizer?
Can I get a cartomizer that holds 3 mils or more?
Can I get a clearomizer?

Maybe I should just ask if everything 510 threaded can be used with the epower?

These questions my sound silly. But after 2 years of using only 808 threaded devices, I am just like when I started out.

Yes
Can I get a tank cartomizer?
Yes but there are great tanks and horrible tanks out there. Also would need your cartos slotted or slot them yourself.
Can I get a cartomizer that holds 3 mils or more?
Yes get some XXL cartos. The SmokTech 1.7 single coil cartos work great on 3.7 PVs
Can I get a clearomizer?
Yes but some with degrade/ crack with certain juices
510 is the most common of threading on PVs.

With the E-Power 14650 low resistance single coil cartos are the best vapor producers, assuming you have this model equipped with the low resistance capable switch. As others mention, 1.7 and 2.0 ohm LR are big favorites. Pretty much the same cartos you want for a KGO. I like both the Smoktech single coil 1.7 ohm and 2.0 ohm XL sized cartos.

Boge 2ohm cartomizers work the best for them.

Can I get a tank cartomizer?

Yes you can.

Can I get a cartomizer that holds 3 mils or more?

Well the simple answer is yes but it gets a little more complicated. The ego mega dual coil cartomizers will work on these with a 510/ego adapter but due to the voltage, won't work as well as a Boge.

Can I get a clearomizer?

Yes.

Yes but please remember that anything that says eGo in terms of a cartomizer has a skirt so you need the adapter I mentioned.

Smoktech makes a nice tank that holds 3.5ml and is fairly inexpensive. It will work with Smoktech punched tank cartos that are specially flanged to fit Smoktech tanks. 1.7 and 2.0 ohm is available.

You don't need to use a Smoktech tank, of course. The J tank also works well on 510 cartos.

I love Smoktech single coil cartos. I order them from Hoosier and have never received bad cartos from him.

You can use Boge or other brand 510 cartos if you wish, but those Smoktech LR XL cartos hold a lot of juice: nearly 2 ml on dry fill.

I'd start by using LR cartos alone on the E-Power 14650. If you vape much more than 2-3ml of juice per day then you may want to look into using a tank.

Thanks to all, I am making a list of things that I can use with the e-power 14650 from your suggestions.
Also I found a supplier that is selling the kit for $37 which I thought was a good price.

Right now I am using an 808ego 900 mah. The problem is they take 8 hours to charge and are only lasting 4 hours. And I only have one charge for them. So these will turn into a back-up.

The E-power replacement batteries are reasonable. So I am hopeful that the kit (with 2 batteries) and one extra will last the day.

I have done some reading on the E-power and want to get one as well. I have been using the Riva 1100mah ( same as ego or kgo) . I also use an Ego vari Volt and a Lavatube.

As the others mentioned, the smoktek 1.7's are nice and the XL's will hold more juice. I have tried a few diff tank setups so far and I keep going back to the Ego Vision Clearomizer. They just cant be beat on a 3.7 device. Simply unscrew the mouth pc , fill the 1.6ml tank with juice DIRECTLY from the bottle ( God I hate using syringes... who needs all that muss and fuss ??? ) screw the mouth pc back on and vape till you drop. They deliver great vapor and great flavor without all the headaches.

Best simple setup out there IMHO. I fill 2 in the morning and Im good all day. The E Power is supposed to be even better since its regulated. Hence the reason Im leaning that way for my on the go vape.

Slip one of these on your E power and lemme know watcha think.

Vision eGo CE4+ Clearomizer DV Edition

Did I see you vaping at a red light the other day ???? GO JERSEY !!

Unless you're chain vaping 1 E-Power batt should last pretty well the whole day or very close to it.
100 mah= 1 hour normal vaping. Unless your 808 batts are very old you should be getting more than 4 hours something is not right. Did you purchase from a reputable dealer? Also shouldn't take 8 hrs to recharge.
Compared to your 808 you're going to be very happy with the E-Power IMO.
Good Luck.

I did order from a reputable vendor that I have used alot. When I contacted they offered to replace the batteries.
Right now they are out of stock waiting for shipment to arrive. I use the slim charger that came with the kit as they adviised me not to use a dangle. I thought maybe the problem was the charger. I do enjoy these batteries but with short life span and long charge time (well, you know it grows old). So I don't think a second kit of these will solve the problem.

I jsst want something that in the morning I fill either a tank or a couple of cartomizers, two charged batteries and not worry that the equipment will not last the day.

Well that's a good thing and at least they are trying.

You're not the only person that has gone this route. After the first mini ecig many, if not all, decide to upgrade based on those points alone. As I've said you will be much happier with the Kgo. Then you can start thinking about a Pink Provari :D
Look at it this way- think of all the smokers out there that are completely unaware of the ecig and what it could do for them. At least we're sitting here knowing about this wonderful opportunity to kick the stinkies to the curb.
Cheers.

I agree on the 1.7 XLs, they are so far my best vape on the e-power. Granted I have only tried those and the fluxos at 2.4-2.6. The fluxos work great on a freshly charged battery, but by the end of day I am forced to swap to the 1.7 to keep the vapor at where I like it. The 1.7 will vape excellent to the end of the battery for me. Got mine from Sweet-Vapes.com. The kit came with 5 of the 1.7s and their customer service is amazing!

Well I ordered the e-power and the lr sc cartos as suggested.

Hopefully I will be as happy as others with this set up. i do like the fact that replacement parts are very affordable.

I just looked on sweet vapors web site and there are saying charge in a fire proof area. After reading that warning I hope this will be alright. But I have read several posts of people that have been using an e-power for months and no mention of them exploding. I am pretty comfortable as I do not misuse any of my equipment.

Thanks for all the help.

I have six of the little E-Power chargers and run them all at once to charge a weeks worth of batteries on the weekend. These chargers have model number YL-103A on the back label. Never had any battery charging problems with them or the batteries. The only odd thing about the charger is that the battery mounts upside down in them (positive contact down). The + and - contacts are marked on the charger though, so check that out before you insert the battery.

Good luck with the E-Power 14650. Hope it works for you as well as it works for me.

They are just protecting themselves from litigation and ECF vendors are "encouraged" to post ALL safety warnings. ALL battery chargers have a chip in them that turns the charger off when the batts are fully charged. In the VERY, VERY rare instance when this chip fails the batt could melt or explode. Very minimal risk but I never leave my batts charging unattended.
Here's another young lady that just received her Kgo when is really almost the same PV as your E-Power...sounds happy to me :D
