E-cig got through security in StPaul INTL airport, and my local no problems!
Vaped in the airport and plane (discreetly)
Vaped in the Hotel (Mariott) openly, no questions asked by staff (though a few inquiring guests)
In the Mall of America while shopping, and while riding the gentler rides. (Again, discreetly. Though in the Log Flue I let 'er rip.)
Flight got cancelled, so I sat in the smoker room of the atlanta airport and had about 10 people ask me what the hell I was puffing on!
I swear I could have sold 5 starter kits then and there (sent 'em steve's way)
Only bad part is that I put my chargers in checked luggage, and it is lost now.
