I just wanted to let anyone know who hasn't tried this product yet, just how good they are. There have been a huge amount of differing opinions as these have hit the market in the past month or two. On a 3.7V device like the roughstack these are just awesome.
Ive used 2.5 and lr atomizers of just about every type available these days. there has always been one issue or another. I like lr 306 attys and 2.5 ohm 510 attys the best to date. My biggest issue with any of these is such an unpredictable lifespan. Attys are a crapshoot some last 2 days and some go 3 months. Having to drip all the time to get a satisfying vape can be annoying at times as well.
Old version cartomizers honestly, really freak me out. I personally did not sign on to e-cigs so I could inhale burning plastic. I know this is the case because after listening to one crackling and popping for a couple hours after filling it I cut it open. The filling that surrounded the coil was black and burnt. It's very possible that this was a defective unit and i want to make it clear that this is really just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt but I don't use these things after seeing the inside.
The new E2s have no glues or wadding with the juice sitting in a ceramic reservoir. They still aren't perfection due to they way they are filled (with a syringe) but to date this is the best product I have seen hit the market. They do need a quick burn off when you first open the package, but this is a very simple process. Just pop the cap before filling the first time and look in the center where the element is. screw into your pv and pulse the button until the coil glows. Do this until it quits smoking and its clean. This is nothing more than a primer on the coil from the manufacturer and will leave a nasty taste if you don't get it off.
I know many people are hesitant to try new products preferring what they already know but i wanted to give my two cents on what I will be using from now on. If you haven't given these a shot I really encourage you do
This wasn't written to knock any particular product in any way. Only to point out my problems and feelings about some of the things I have used in the past and share what I like.
