My pinky button is beginning to look a little dark and dull. How can it be cleaned and shined up?

Go out and buy some polish... maybe Brasso. Personally, I think oxidized brass looks really nice. I guess it feeds that small steampunk geek in me. :p

Anyway, about the EA Mod, I'll say I own 4 other mech mods (Telescope, Galileo, Galileo USA, and even a Vinci), but the EA Mod is the one I keep coming back to as my all-day device. It just hits with perfection, and it doesn't help my Kick gets a little weird in my Galileo.

And for anyone looking for something to sit perfect on top (flush and same diameter), a regular Phiniac tank with stainless caps fits like the two were made for each other! The Munna tank from Finnvape also looks amazing on it, and is my personal preference, however I'm not a fan of not being able to see into a tank.

Well..look what showed up today... Already had one issue with it though - The little clip behind the firing pin came off...bugger to get back in.. (anybody had that happen yet?).. don't like that but overall.. this thing is nice!

I saw where someone was messing with that little clip and lost it. He went out to a home improv store and bought something like it but it didn't do as good a job. I've not had any issue with mine but it would be nice to have a replacement part handy if something happened. Did it just come off by itself?

Yeah - Luckly I found it - I sent a message to EA asking about replacement parts cause if it happens 30 minutes after I have the device..knowing me - it will happen again and I wont find it if it does cause that part is tiny, tiny, tiny :)

Let me know what they say and if any spare clips are available. :)

Agreeing with dsy5 I bought some of those clips today at ace for .31 a piece. The ones I bought were e-clip. The c-clip they had were too big. Be sure to take the button pin with you to size up the right clip.

Good to know. I wonder if ACE has the tiny washers and spring that come on the pos post on the ac9/rsst? I looked at Radio Shack today and they didn't have anything. Be nice to trick out my did to have that spring loaded pos post instead of having to screw down that tiny screw.

Yup, foggdawg, you're right - they were e-clip. I keep forgetting that the c-clips have the little holes in them for the insertion tool; the e-clips just snap right over the post. From the looks of it, you probably wouldn't be able to get the tool in there to use a c-clip anyway.

Yeah, ACE has the tiny washers, but the store I was at did not have any that small in stainless - just steel. I think the steel ones I bought were 1.2mm... I used them just under the first nut to protect the silicone insulator. I think they had 3mm or 4mm in stainless, which could be too big.

They did not have any springs that tiny , though. A ballpoint pen spring should work, though you might have to trim it.

Perhaps they are over tightening the locking ring.

I haven't had any issues with mine yet. I haven't even messed with the locking ring other than pushing it when I vape. I'm going to get some just in case. I'm just glad these can be bought locally so cheap. (not used to that!)

Richard75, will you be able to see the juice for the Munna tank? I believe it is made of SS, so does it has a glass window somewhere?

No, there's no window. It's an awesome tank, though. There's only interior o-rings, the rest is solid and it has a cap that screws on, but it doesn't leak one bit. This also makes it easier to check the level of e-liquid - you just push down the carto, unscrew and peek inside. It also also holds a ton of it (I think Finnvape says 5 mL's), lasts me about three days! It's not an everyday tank for me, because of the lack of window, but it looks stellar and works perfect.

*************UPDATE********************

my one and only complaint about the EA mod is the stifness of the spring. I hate tough throws on switches. I decided to try and fix it.

SOLUTION: take apart a clicky pen and find the spring, test the spring for stiffness and size on EA switch, cut spring shorter than EA mod spring and install

RESULTS: WOWOWOWOW super super easy throw. It's great if you're tired of the stiffness and hand fatigue caused by it.
