Which were you happier doing? I have found that quick hits are easier to fit into my day. After smoking a pipe it is nice to have a habit that doesn't totally take over, if you know what I mean. (Although if I forget I doubled my nic intake and carry on in a binge of vaping I do get the tinnitus and insomnia.)

I've had tinnitus for decades. I also smoked for decades. I can't remember if smoking influenced it, but it would not have mattered if it had as I wouldn't have smoked less to alleviate it anyway.

For me, vaping nicotine makes the tinnitus worse. I can vape a couple of mg nic and not notice a change, but if I go up to 6 mg on high power setups it is quite noticeable after a while. Vaping zero nic does not make it worse. Other things also affect it.
