Or if you don't have water handy, roll it up in a paper towell and squeeze it hard, move it to a clean spot on the towell and repeat until no more liquid comes off on the towell. Two or three repititions usually does it. That will get out almost all the remaining traces of liquid.

In a house.
You can buy the syringes in Boots chemist for about 15p, ask behind the pharmacy counter.

I got one from Boots but they only had ones to draw in the liquid from a bottle not to press things like carts to get liquid out.
The one i got has a rubber seal on the top so it just draws in liquid and pumps it out. That's all they had.

Is the rubber seal round the plunger bit? normally if you give them a good yank they come out then you can just push them back in again, the ones I have here are called Exacta-med.
I use them for measuring paint just in case anyone is wondering why i have syringes lying around lol.

Waahaay. Thank you Karen. I was so scared of breaking it that i never tried that.
So now i'm off to sqeeze lots of used carts. Now to find a container.
Thanks very much
