Yes you need to upgrade. joyetech's website has the files you need and also instructions. Just be sure to download the files for the VTC Mini. They also have files for the Cubiod on there..I'm on version 2.0 so I gotta upgrade then. Thank you

I got a FEDEX message for the 8 Dec TFV4 mini out for delivery today 
When I did a lookup on the tracking number in the SMS, I could see it shipped last Thursday.
My FedEx Insight page still shows nothing, so I'd say Insight might be a bit funky (beats me how it would send an out for delivery message, but not show it in the Inbound list)
Anyhoo, looking forward to trying it out when I get home today --a 1 ohm coil is sitting in the tf-r1 head, just needs wick added

Well version 3.0 has a TC mode for SS316 and also a TCR mode where you can preset TCR values for the wires you use.
I like the new screen layout.
I'm not using TC so new layout only for me. I like the new layout. Bigger and easier to see. But is there possible to see how many puffs etc?

Yes. You have the option to change what is displayed on the bottom row of the screen (just above the battery indicator). You can choose between Amp/Puff/Time.

I have the X Cube and at about 130w is pushing it. All of the coils between the TFV4 and the TFV4 mini everything seems happy at 75-85w average.
@Vapah , thanks for letting us know. I never vape over 70 on anything. Especially now that i run tc. But if the rba in the tfv4 is alright i might spring for one
I have three different rba's for them now and I don't really mess with them yet. I bought the full size tfv4 on black Friday and I am still rotating between the two original pre-built coils. Ithe is me every day vape and I swap out and soak the coils about once a week. I won't but any coils because they are so expensive but these things last forever.
The whole "sample not for sale" thing I find kind of cool. It's like getting.limited edition.

yeah, i dig that. I dig the "ECF" serial number on the Evic minis they gave out a while back too
