I was one of those who many years ago tried the "brand new e-cig product" found at my local cigarette store. Kit costs like $90.00 (x2 one for hubby) and had two ittty bitty batts, charger, and a couple of atomizers and cartridges. Got one for hubby too, but at the time, I didn't know you even had the ability to "buy" eliquid, and the cartridges (nothing more than plastic tube with stuffing and a few drops of eliquid in them) pack of 10 costs as much as a carton of generic cigarettes. And the little cartridges didn't last any time at all, it was no wonder failure happen so quickly.

A year ago - I decided to revisit vaping - and two amazing things happened. I found a quality product which provided me with the needed nicotine and ease of use, and the very next day I signed up to ECF (had been lurking as a guest previously).

I can say without a doubt that ECF and vaping has given me back control of my life and my health!

BTW - Since we are Getting Very Close to 10,000,000 Posts, this is what I Think is going to Happen.

The post count will actually go Over 10,000,000 on the Main ECF Page. and then the Mods/Admins will go back and Subtract the Non-e-Cigarette Posts to Find the 10,000,000th Post.

So Don't Freak Out if you See the Post Count go Over 10,000,000 and there Isn't an Instantaneous Announcement of who Won the BMW.

I Mean Vaping Money. Won the Vaping Money.

Wow... That was Close. Gotta Watch what I say. They had Mostly Forgotten about the Beamer. Wait. I'm I thinking this or Typing This?

What started for me as an alternative to smoking, has turned into a wonderful hobby. I love trying new things, and testing my abilities at certain rebuildables. I am cautious though and spend a lot of time searching and reading prior to attempting anything I am not familiar with.

I appreciate all the very knowledgeable people who walked the path prior and had the concern and compassion for their fellow vapers to post detailed blogs concentrating all their expertise in one place, in a precise and easy to follow format.

I discovered e-cigs by a family member. No one else knew about vaping except the two of us. He quit smoking immediately (he was a 2 pack a day smoker for decades)! I started vaping about a month give or take and I quit smoking at the same time. I had been a smoker 35 years so I wasn't sold on the idea for myself, but I am feeling great and I'll never go back to the ciggies. Thanks to all of you who helped me so far, I hope I can help someone soon too. :vapor:

Just to put in my :2c:
I found ECF totally by accident a little over 5 months ago. Tomorrow, in fact, will be my official 5 monthiversary off the cigs!! I can't tell you how many good friends I've made here, and how incredibly easy this has been to quit, after over 30 years of smoking no less!! People ask me why I'm not on FB so much lately....well, it's because I'm here....always reading, researching, hanging out with friends. What a life saver this has been for me!! Congrats ECF, on a job well done! Luvs ya!!!
