I watched the last 2000 posts rack up. Then the host sites stupid policy robbed me of my chance. I would be content if I had fairly lot, but my opportunity was stolen. I know it's none of you folks' fault, nor the admins. It's the host company, and the forum software coders. They owe me a chance at $600[/rant]

Yeah, we can be a little hot-headed after just 6 days analog free. Congrats to whomever didn't get screwed.

Not sure how anyone got screwed. It was a contest someone has to win and others had to lose.

Hey all,

It's a number so large that I can barely fathom it. It represents, literally, lifetimes worth of human effort, but after 5-and-a-half years we are approaching the 10 millionth post on ECF.

Now, it's an arbitrary threshold, but it feels like a milestone of sorts and I thought we should celebrate. So, we've come up with a special prize for the poster who hits that magic mark.

We're not going to announce what the prize is just yet, but rest assured, it's a good'un! So, carry on posting, and in a couple of weeks we'll announce the prize and the winner.
