Ok so my Echo E-cig came in today. I have the 1300 mAh battery. I ordered black cherry, Newpart and menthol tobacco. Vapesales.com also gave me a free butterscotch bounty 10ml bottle.

So my question is which side of the cartomizer do you fill up in? The side facing the battery? Or the side facing the mouth peice? I went ahead and put the e-juice in through the side with the mouth piece. All the directions say is to not put it in the hole in the center.

I like echo's. I used to have one I was really happy with.

The cartomizers that's come with the echo are Huge! and hold a lot of liquid (like 3 ml). If you pull the drip tip off (the part you put in your mouth) you'll see white batting material with an open center. Your going to drip liquid into the batting and avoid the center. Hold it on an angle and drip drip drip.....Do about 20 drop and give it a hard thermometer shake to move the liquid into the cartomizer. Your going to put around 60 drops into the cartomizer-

Make sure it's full before you try it because if not, you can burn the cartomizer. It takes awhile to get these going because they do hold a lot of liquid.

That is (or was) one of the good things about the Echo/GoGo cartomizers- they can be cleaned out. I'll try to find a link for you.

That's the bad part with cartomizers- it's a pain to test out liquid without wasting a whole bottle. You could get a couple smaller KR808 cartomizers that hold about 1 ml of liquid.

There are a couple of suppliers that carry KR808 cartomizers. Maybe one of the members will know or I'll look around and find them for you.

Go glad you like it! Best of luck to you with it. When I first started I vaped a Newport type liquid that was pretty good. Now I moved onto different types of flavors. I'm vaping grape right now!

I think once you add a flavor to a carto, its more or less locked in on that flavor.

I haven't used one in quit awhile so I haven't kept up but that was a big selling feature with the Echo/GoGo cartomizers. Unlike boge cartomizers, the filler material can be removed and cleaned. Not the easiest thing in the world- but not the hardest. They said they could be cleaned and reused 100x. I only tried it a couple times, but I'm lazy. There are a few videos around that show how it's done.

Yeah I have a Newport flavor and its pretty close to newports. Then I tried black cherry and I love it so much. I have a vape store about 30 minutes from me. I'm going to go there tomorrow I heard the employees are pretty knowledgable. Looks like ill get a few more cartomizers that way I won't have to worry about tasting the same flavor lol.

There's actually a more involved way to clean the Echo cartomizers, but it gets the job much easier and makes rebuilding easier. The entire cartomizer can actually be disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt. You can even rebuild the coil and insert a new wick, if you're so inclined. You have the Echo-E which I'm told is a bit harder to get apart, but the process is still the same.

First get the inner filler good and wet. Then take a pair of tweezers and gently pull out the filler. Next take a small screwdriver (seriously!) and a hammer, insert the screwdriver into the bottom of the carto (try to avoid the silicone holding the inner tube in place, if possible) and hammer the bottom of the cartomizer off the cone. There will be an inner cotton diaper around the air tube. Now you can wash both the inner and outer filler and dry burn the coil on your battery. After that, everything can simply be pressed back into place.

The Echo-E is a 510 connection, in case you didn't know. Any standard 510 or eGo device will work on it as well. Why Hangsen deicded to market the best fat battery auto (for it's time) in 808 and then offered a 510 system in manual baffles me.

Also, there is a giant thread on the Echo in the eGo sub-forum. Stop by and say hi. :)
