Saw this on Engadget "Fifty-One" e-cigarette will ensure you have no friends even after you quit smoking - Engadget

Read the comments they are stupid. Phylo was ranked down even tho the information he gave was the most useful there with a link here and the ecig is the Loong Totem I think. No one picked out that it was the loong, no one mentioned the 901, not even that it was old news! I felt like telling them what I thought of the comments but I am banned hehehee!

I think the people that comment there are completely brainless hehehehe!

The writer is so dumb. He says how it has fake smoke and replaceable mouthpieces like they aren't features in almost all other e-cigs..and he says how it will leave you with no friends. What a misinformed individual. Obviously people like him who aren't into the e-cig scene don't know that there are tons of other branded and generic, much-better-than-the-average e-cig. All they know about is the branded ones like Ruyan, njoy, and this Fifty-One one. And yeah, the viewer comments below..... ughh...

I think Engadget are harming far too many brands and technologies and have turned into trolls. They tell all their readers how crap Phillips are just because they bought out an MP3 player that looks like an MP3 player!! They are also in bed with Apple it would seem! The people who comment on the articles are just as bad! Anyone with useful information gets low ranked or banned for 'trolling' and those using boring internet memes get high ranked!!

Hey all... pretty new here and totally hooked on e-smoking!

Just wanted to say that I was slso disappointed after having read this nonsense article and lame comments below. Kudos to those who posted from this forum... especially the skeik124 - LOL!! "vaporized Astroglide"

Spent a few minutes down-voting the garbage and up-voting the facts... unfortunately that didn't seem to make much of a huge difference.

I get the same reaction as Randy.

About half the people that I know who smoke think that e-cigs are '......ed' as they put it. Though, all the non smokers think its awesome, mainly because it means I'm not sucking down tons of chemicals.

Wierd the way people's brains work I guess.

Though, some of the initial people who smoke and thought it was stupid are starting to change thier minds because they see me at work puffin away, LOL

the smokers that react negatively that I have come across and it has been a few, are dealthly afraid to give up their habit and have no recent intention to. At first they are interested, then the anxiety comes in and they think...oh what would I do with out my burning tobacco? I had made the decision to stop the burning tabacco. It took a very long time for me to really say to myself...I don't want to do that stinky habit anymore! So, you surprise someone with your ecig out with the "reject smokers" they at first look interested until you tell them, it will replace their security blanket, that burning stinky stick!!!

I actually saw this product, and complete idea of a "E-cigarette" today, from engadgets negative review.

The funny thing is, I was intrigued and as useal, I looked into the product myself instead of blindly following a review. The product is amazing to me, and I am proud to say I have ordered my first "E-Smoke" !

I also wanted to express my sincere thanks, and gratitude to smoke51.com , and Nicole. I found her coupon code on that thread, and after reviewing it I was interested. I called as the coupon code did not work, and she had things fixed in no time. She called me back on my cell, and after the order went through, she called my wife back to get ahold of me and I was at work - in which she called my cell and let me know to call her immediately so she could get my order out today. They were out of the 8mg carts that I ordered, and I told her 6mg was fine.

I can't explain probally all that happened today, but all in all the customer service was EXCELLENT -- and It was almost personal, like my friends were calling me, and our discussion , her personal use of the product, etc.

I highly recoomend Smoke51 , from this first experience. I will post a follow-up when I recieve it, and when I have had first-hand experience with the product itself.

To top it off, she saved me 50$ with her savings code, and I am just very appreciative of her support!

Thanks again Nicole, if you are out there.

I all fairness, I considered them toys at best to begin with and would have laughed in the face of anyone who'd told me that they could replace analogue cigs ;)

The comments are looking more balanced now. Thanks to those who've commented, and it's always good to have the last word! :D
