Let's put it this way....for me, an analog tastes pretty bad after vaping, but I can smoke it anyway....lol

The only time I can't smoke right away is right after hitting my screwdriver because that thing is like smoking 2 cigarettes in a row. I just can't seem to light up then....but it's not about the taste.

I love my ecig flavors and the analog really does taste pretty ****ty in comparison, but it really isn't bad enough for me not to smoke it (unfortunately).

Great success story New Years Quitter.

I'm not really sure what I'd do at this point if they were banned. Analogs for me were the eclipse cigarettes, the ones with the carbon tip that heats the tobacco. So I've disliked the taste of traditional cigarettes for several years now. I hate the thought of having to go back to the eclipse at $6.50 per pack. I was smoking nearly 1 1/2 packs a day. But... I probably would at this point.

Hopefully someday I'll be where you are. I'm already noticing that I don't vape as much as I use to smoke. It's kind of cool to have an ecig lying around ready for an occasional puff instead of lighting up and smoking the whole thing. When I get the need for a good nic hit I'll just take a few extra long deep draws and that seems to do it.

If I can't get ecigs or eliquid I'll be vaping tobacco in this - i-inhale

I think that might work for me as well, Kate. Since I was smoking the eclipse cigs the i-inhale probably wouldn't be much different. It's probably even better since the Eclipse can actually ignite the tobacco if smoked too long.

After over 4 weeks of vaping only i went back to analogs. I had to divert funds from my vices to getting the boy's car repaired. I done ok for a day or so. Then i caved in to the nicotine monster and bought a cheap ... pack of analogs. The first one was sooo bad i tossed it out the window after only three drags. That was on Wed, that pack lasted me two days. Since then i have bought two more packs. I haven't been enjoying the taste like i used to and i have been finding myself actually craving a hit of Riskee or 555 high. I have been more self concious (sp) of the tobacco smell on my clothes too.

Hopefully my juice order should be in my mailbox today so i can get back to vaping.

Like a lot of people i'm sure i can step down to a 0nic mix which is my long term goal. I have found a local source of Lorann flavors and have a bottle of blackberry and one of cheesecake sitting at home waiting to be experimented with. Just need to get some VG and i'll be mixing away.

So to answer the original question ......... right now i would end up smoking analogs again. Maybe in 3 months or so it could be a different story.

I'll be joining you too, Kate..
and I hope you'll come up with some great ideas on how to use it, like you've done with all those DIY tips..:thumb:

The I-Inhale might be our first dual purpose device if we can get the formula and method for eliquid perfected. That makes it very handy for quitters in the case of bans because herbal vaporisers aren't banned.

"... vapor does not contain the harmful carcinogens and tars that are found in smoke. This is due to the fact that vaporizing releases the active ingredients at a much lower temperature than the point of combustion so no carbon is burned ... you simply need tobacco and a vaporizer. "

... I'd keep a dead one lying around and suck on it just for the hand to mouth action (oh err).

That line made me laugh so hard I actually cried a tear as my ecig went flying across the room. Yeah, I know, my mind must be in the psycho gutter this morning.

I'm thinking I may have unintentionally joined the other bunnies in la la land.

Glad to be of service. I like to be on hand to offer relief, lying prostrate and looking up at the stars. Y'know, spent.

How can they ban an electronic device though?
If the parts were to be sold individually, how can they ban an atomizer and a battery?? These themselves do not provide nicotine... OK I can understand they might ban the liquid and cartridges and if that's the case you can carry on making your own liquid (albeit 0 nicotine) and carry on vaping!

Just as if they banned a gun--you would be in violation if you had a barrel laying around or bullets or blanks, its would be the same concept--they can do anything they want--sad state of affairs--Sun:nah:

If e-cigs were banned I'd go underground and keep vaping... learn to jury-rig a vaporizer and make my own juice. If all else failed I'd probably patch and/or gum it and try to wean myself... but in the end it's very possible I'd end up back on analogs... and I'd probably keep thinking of them as "analogs" for a long time...
