Jays show was cancelled, he is saying he was fired for no reason from tvn. I seriously doubt that though, they probably had a good reason. Either that or ecta decided to cancel, and are moving forward with their own channel, that vapers canada thing, which is a place they will promote ecta and its members.

edit: In a post saby edited, he said something along the lines of "We are here to stay, we will have our own network" So, i thought they might want to do the interview in a more controlled environment. It's looking like this mess was caused by a internal dispute between the TVN owner and jay.

As I said elsewhere, I was told the show was off two minutes before we were due to go live.... and I am just completely gutted for Jay.

A very sad day.

TVN cancelled Jay's show (fired him)...he found out when he went to set up a few minutes before air time so there wasn't any time to make other arrangements OR to let viewers know what was going on. Both Jay and ECTA (Katherine) were blindsided.

Jay's being let go from TVN has nothing to do with the ECTA. TVN's boss had some internal complaints. For the record, most of the hosts & some guests do not post on the ECF for personal reasons. They have some hatred for the ECF & being neutral like myself - Jay seems to be caught in the middle.

If vaping is going to move forward in Canada there has to be a united front.

Anyone see that happen?

Let me rephrase that , because it is happening with us vapers that have kicked the death stix.

Is there any organized Canadian group that is willing to band/stand together and accept our different views yet still stand united for the bigger benefit on vaping nic products in Canada?

There will be many different avenues; ECTA is one of them. And when we get to do the interview, that will be made clearer.

ECTA does not have any control over TVN... ecta vendors AND non Ecta canadian vendors are BOTH sponsors at TVN.... so i genuinetly do not believe that this was ECTA or a Non-ECTA vendor issue...

Oh us simple Canadians that don't like conflictand seem to need others to tell us what to say, and to whom, and when!

well freakindahouse, seeing as I got such a warm "come back to our fried list" I think I will. And thank you so very much for the invite. As a Canadian Vaper who has the best interest of all Canadian Vapers as heart, just like ECTA it is is so nice and warm to be back.

I understand why you're suspicious, along with many others. That's why we wanted to do the interview. And we will, so then it will be possible for everybody's questions to be answered.
