His reviews are one of the fastest ways to empty your bank account ;)
to be honest, I think he reviews far too many ultra-high-end mods but that's just me....In the end, a mod is a mod if you arent going to drill down into the chip performance or something. Its pretty, its made well of nice materials, you press the button and vapour appears. Why take 30 minutes over it!! His atty reviews are pretty good but the bloody good waffles are the highlight!!

I generally agree with this, it is nice to see some cool mods but personally I'm not in the market for mods like many he reviews. In saying that he did recently review the DaniBox, which has a high chance of being the next shock my bank account sees when I next lose control, but the review itself doesn't do much that a quick look doesn't do plus the price point wouldn't get a battery cap for some things he reviews (should you by some miracle actually have the opportunity to be allowed to order one). The atty reviews I do really like, I think this will be the 4th atty I have bought where his review has played a reasonable part in it and his waffles are great.

Edit: I guess the chip reviews are a bit redundant in many cases since they are nearly all SX350 line or DNA 40s. There is only so much extra performance you can get casing a pretty standard (or even old) chip in wood that his been dipped in unicorn tears.

Absolutely and that is kinda what I was saying. A mod is a box (maybe a very expensive one) with a battery and chip and all the chips have been reviewed to death!!

Rose 3 was delivered today. I won't have time to mess with it for a few more hours, but it is quite a bit shorter than the Kayfun v5 which I like. Only thing I noted so far is that a glass tank section as a future update is unlikely. Both the PC tank and the steel tank have threads built into them to screw into the appropriate section.

Looking forward to getting a build in it soon.

So I couldn't help myself and ordered one from Coval Vapes earlier today, and literally 7 minutes later I got a shipping notification with tracking number. How's that for quick service? Lol. Looking forward to trying it. I just really hope the coils air hole is not too large for MTL leading to a harsh vape. If its 3mm (which is what I've read), then it should be fine. Everything else about this atty is everything I wished the V2 was years ago

I wanted this until the $175 sticker shock slapped up side the face....my kayfun v5 was my last expensive purchase when I realised the $21 clone vapes exactly the same as the one I got from svoemesto actually I prefer the sjmy clone as the tank spins more smoothly then the authentic. I fell for the same .... with the no pity from noname. My authentic from vapinart actually had a janky afc where the metal had broken between one of the holes my nopity clone from 3fvape vapes exactly the same had nicer machining and came with the cloud cap for and was $17 compared to $146 after shipping sigh.... I want to support these authentics but I just can't afford it 8(

$175 for an atty is kinda steep, especially these days. To be honest, I just don't have the patience to wait for a tested and proven clone to hit the scene. The sophistication of the Rose3 components and assembly doesn't leave me too confident that a comparable clone will hit the market soon. Also, there's a handful of modders I'll always support, and Eden Mods is on that list. They've always been a bit pricier than the rest, but worth it. £120 doesn't quite work out to $175, seems like Coval added a slight premium.

I just wanted to spoil myself today, being the day the deeming regs go into effect. Helps ease the frustration, having something new to get excited about ;). This will be probably one of my last RTA purchases, since we won't be seeing new products for a while :(

I thought I remember reading on a UK forum that a glass section was on the cards???

I was anti-plastic tanks until I got my Hurricane, up until then I would simply move on if the atty didn't have glass. Sure I would prefer it, but it's not a deal breaker anymore for me :)

Having said that I don't vape any tank cracking juice ;)

I think the ACF is the same as the Snapdragon 1.5, which means that you can change from 0mm to 3 x 2mm holes on 2 sides. :thumb:

$175 is pretty steep :/ I caved on the KF 5 eventually though it wasn't quite what I was really wanting, only had it a week but then I seen this and it is exactly what I wanted in the first place. I get what you are saying though, this is expensive on authentic stuff, funds can be limited and some of it isn't quite that good. I think when I got the no pity it would have worked slightly worse by the time taxes, shipping and at the time currency exchange came in, it was £129 by the time it was at my door and the pound was worth more then than it is now. It vapes pretty good, but I was a bit disappointed and it made me start to feel a bit of a similar way, it didn't quite feel worth it, I'm sure that general feeling came across when speaking in the RDA thread.

The Rose 3 has a kind of quirky chimney design. Its the only tank I have that doesn't have a chimney section that is screwed in top and bottom and helps sandwich the tank section together. So the design requires a tank section that needs threads on both sides since the chimney cannot be used to hold it all together. Not sure how they could make a glass tank for it honestly as is.

The deal with the drip tip needing to be very snug is no joke. Pretty much all of my drip tips are the nice, well machined, and the easy to fit in type. I have flooded the deck twice now because there is just not enough friction I guess to fully close the "juice flow control". The included tip actually has notches on the bottom that fit into slots, so it doesn't need to be ridiculously tight.

I need to spend more time messing around with it before I say much more. Flavor seems to be exactly like the Snapdragon to me. So it's very good.

What you say makes sense regarding the glass tank. I could have been wrong I will ask on the fb page and see if I get a bite :)

There seems to be a lot of people on the fb page using their own tips - in fact most are - I guess they need fat o-rings :)

Well, it's very easy to put in whatever tip you like of course, whether you have a leak free top fill is another matter. I will mess with it more (probably tried 10 different drip tips), but my mod has had juice running down its sides 3x tonight with me fooling about, and I'm kind of done messing with drip tips and o-rings for now :)

Yeah, who knows, maybe just using their own for a photo?? Dunno?

Looks like I was wrong on the glass section, I possibly was recalling the Snappy glass top? Either way, there won't be a glass section

It would have been nice, but my hopes were kind of dashed once I saw how the tank was put together. I would love the glass snappy top, but delivered would be almost $70usd. I don't like it that much :)

I hope nobody thought I was criticizing there choice to buy one or there defense of the product or its price. I was just stating two experiences I have had with pricy products lately and the fact I can't afford to keep paying for these $100 plus $150 plus attys. Believe me the rose v3 looks to be by the chimney design exactly what I am looking for. I'm super tempted to say .... it and pick one up right now I just can bring myself to with the amount of bills I have right now 8(

Well, I had my first successful refill using my own drip tip.

1. If you apply a bit of downward force when you close the juice flow control it seems to close just a bit more snug. This is not needed with the default drip tip, or if your drip tip comes with a kung fu grip.

2. There was a very small bit of cotton in the threads where the chimney screws down to the deck, and that may have required more force to be applied than was necessary. I redid the wicking and made sure no cotton stuck out past the deck this time.

One the other, or both just happy one small problem seems to be overcome. This thing has some good flavor, I'll give it that.
