I've had my ego-c atomizer since Dec 24 and it's my favorite so far over my old tank atty, clearomizers, cartomizers, etc. But I've run into a problem. The tanks were starting to feel loose so I picked up some silicone caps before they wore out and caused problems. Now here's where the problem starts. I popped on a silicone cap and I get almost no flavor and a burnt taste by the second draw. I swapped out atty's still the same thing. So I popped another silicone cap on another tank and still the same problem. Vapor cuts down big time and taste goes away completely. The second draw starts the burnt flavor. Pop back on the standard plastic cap and everything is fine.

I'm using Volcano's Peach (16 Nic) which I'm told they don't ever go more then 20% vg in their juices. I added Purfumers Apprentice Juicy Peach (3mil added to 30 mil juice) for extra flavor and to knock the Nic down a touch. Love the taste when using the regular plastic caps.

So any ideas about what might be going on with these silicone caps?

Well found out what was wrong. I have two bottles of the volcano peach. One thinned with extra flavor from TPA. The other has extra flavor but also extra vg. I had a needle cap on the thinned bottle. A friend came over and asked to try the peach. Told him to help himself. What I didn't know is that he swapped the tips so it would be easier to fill his clearomizer with the needle cap. Only he didn't switch it back. So I have been filling the tanks with a high vg liquid. Changed out the liquid in the tanks and it works with no problems. Well except for a slightly harder draw when using the silicone caps.
