Welp! I just received my order of two Twists (One SNLS, one BLK) and a bunch of Stardusts (SR, 2.7-3.0ohm long wicks) an hour ago. I let one charge because the other one kept showing green when I plugged it in..thanks for charging it for me HC :D. I filled a Stardust with my all day vape right now, Honey Nut Flue from BWB. Set it immediately at 4.2 and it tastes great. I've been chain vaping just to see how the Twist held up, and it has been doing fine. I set it up to 4.4 and vaped it alongside my Vector Variable Volt (using a LR Ressurector at 3.8 volts) and honestly....the taste from the Twist/Stardust combo is better. I know, I know, taste is subjective, but with the Twist I can taste some of the nutty notes from the juice that I didn't even notice I was missing. At first I was like, 'Ew, plasticky taste..back to the Volt!,' but after a few more vapes I realised it wasn't plastic, but the subtle nutty flavors that everyone talks about..the honey flavor is dialed down some letting the tobacco and nuttiness shine a bit more.

Sorry, rambling! Anyway, it's only been an hour or so, but I'm already really impressed with this little device. The draw is nice and even, not to 'airy' but not too tight. I guess I'll check back in here tonight and tell y'all how long it lasted me..I'm just gonna vape this thing 'till it flashes and tells me it needs to eat. The one problem, at least for me, is that those numbers on that dial are hard to see at first. My eye sight blows, and I have to stick it up to my face to see where they go. I've been going by memory and turning clockwise for up, counter for down.

Nice review,;) are the Stardusts (SR, 2.7-3.0ohm long wicks) better than the shorter wick versions ? My Stardusts keep leaking on the battery:mad:
I too wish they did something better on the twist dial #'s, My eyes are not so good anymore:(

(

Mine do the same thing. Drives me nuts as I cannot figure out why.

And yes, I wish they had made the numbers easier to read as well - not the greatest design for those of us with a few years behind us, ;) Other than that, though, I am loving my Twist! Ordered one last week to see if I liked it and ordered another on today, lol.

Thanks, hehe..the review wasn't supposed to be as long as it was :D. I did not try the short wick versions. I've heard varying reports from some that like the short wicks better and some like the longer wicks. I'm having a good time with the LW version, but as always: YMMV.

AIIIEEEEE! I think I just broke my stainless Twist. Not sure how it happened, but the button is jammed really hard and nothing I do can seem to fix it. I think the button spring/mechanism has somehow got twisted sideways.

:?:

Anyone ever replace a button on one of these? I have extra of the soft kgo buttons--think those would work if I pull out the ego button (which I'm sure will crack the plastic button itself)?

Need some advise on what to use with my pearl pink twist. The only cone cover I can find to match is pearlized pink atomizer:

Joye eGo-C Type A atomizer base and cone - Genuine Joyetech!

I've never used atty's and along with that I would also need to buy tanks and atty's. Not sure I want to get into this type of arrangement. Will the cover from this (above link) screw onto my twist using a carto instead? What I really want is a pearl pink cone cover for cartos to give it a nice finished look. I can get a pink cover but I don't think it will match as well as it is a matte finish.

I have clear 3.5ml slim tanks which look ok but look top heavy and the black parts of it look ugly. I also have stardusts but they aren't my favorite and the colors are wrong for my pink.

What are people using that looks nice and vapes well? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I love my twist but I find I'm not using it outside of the house because it looks silly.

I'm using both KGO's and a Twist. They seem pretty comparable so far in terms of quality. The Twist is nice to fine-tune the wattage on some juices. I personally have been using 2.0 ohm cartos on both and I don't go above 4.2V on the Twist with anything. Some juices I actually dial down to 3.6V. For me, the difference is subtle between sticking with 3.7V and changing it a bit. Not anything earth-shattering, but nice to have with a couple of juices that the extra wattage brings out the flavor of a little more.

Trying to separate it can be difficult. Here's a video that shows how a guy used a cone to wiggle it apart.

Exact same thing here. Above 4.2v and the standard resistance C attys and stuff tends to taste burnt.
I got a black and stainless. My Upgrade PT is black and the Twist is stainless. I use the black for menthol flavors and stainless for other. Most fruit flavors go down to the 3.5-3.7 range and tobacco generally goes up to 4.0.

Some of the adjustment is earth shattering. I've had flavors I couldn't stand become good when turned up.

Your link doesn't work for me, but I looked it up at Vaporkings.

Joye eGo-C Type A atomizer base and cone - Genuine Joyetech!

Is that it? If so, you're out of luck, sorry. This is an atomizer base, not a cone for an eGo battery, and it won't work as a cartomizer cover. It only works with eGo-C type A atomizers and type A tanks.

I don't much care about the looks of my PVs (as long as they deliver the goods) and I stopped using cones a long time ago. I suggest you buy a pink cone or a stainless shorty cone that just covers the threads on your battery and matches the eGo Twist's silver band. I've seen them at Madvapes.

KGO Cones Bigbore

Here's a link to some kgo cones, I have both kgo and ego-c, so I tried one on my ego just now and they fit just fine.
It doesn't look like the pink is pearl, but maybe the white pearl would be nice
I'm like Katya, rarely use my cones except with a couple of things that I used them on to try and tighten the draw
Good Luck
