Ego carto and burning throat

I just got my ego cartos in yesterday and although I love the amount of juice they hold and the flavor and vapor is good they seem to almost burn my throat. It is more than a irritation it is more like actual burning. Has anyone else had this issue with the ego carto? I also got the mega attys and carts yesterday and they are good but I am just a carto fan and would lover for these to work for me but doesn't look to good .

I'm a noob myself, but my guess is it's the primer in the new carto. I was having the same problem with my regular carts, until I got out the second atty, blew it out properly, then pulsed the battery with 1 & 2 second bursts while gently blowing into it until there was very little vapor and it wasn't harsh to breath in. When I primed the atty with a couple drops and put a freshly filled cart in, the vapor is no longer harsh and it tasts a lot better.
I know this is no answer, but it might at least provide direction. I've already told you more than I know about cartos, but maybe they need a cleaning and burn-off before first use as well?

there shouldn't be any primer in a carto. how would you go about dryburning it off w/o burning the filler?

in my experience the joye eGo mega cartos have a burnt plastic taste even when they are working properly.
