This is an odd question of sorts.
I have been using at home the boge 2 ohm cartos mostly some 3ohm also and love them.
I was going out and decided to put on the ego cone to better protect the unit in pocket for drops etc. and seems the air flow is greatly affected on these by the cone. (hard draw ) no issue without the cone. As I have some clearos coming and I understand they do break easily this is of some concern to me , possibly for no good reason. Thoughts?:vapor:

YOu need to make the end hole in the cone larger, or 'shorten' the cone- This is best done by a dremmel-

OR you can take a VERY small, I mean SMALL drill bit and drill a hole in the side of your cone, right above the threads to allow air flow.

I have done both- the shorter filed down for my larger circumfrence (sp) carto's and CE2's and for my tanks (because I HATE those threads showing) I filed the cone down to like 3/4 inch long and still had to drill a hole, because the rubber grommet wouldnt allow airflow.

They look great now :)

I wont kid you- drilling the hole is a PITA- you cant let the drill move- you will scratch the surface- BADLY- you cant put it in a vice, you will mishape it. (and scratch it) unless you fit it on a ...... oh crap..... you know... not a wedge, but the metal thing... a.... OH CRAP.... metal bar that is graduated in size....

anyway- good luck :)
