I took a risk and ordered them. 1st gen worries me a bit but I am a carto freak so... Shipping from TN to NJ is quick so I should have them Monday or Tuesday. They are kind of pricey to me, for roughly $10 a shot after shipping they better be the s**t. Starting to stockpile cracked clearo's so I'm in the mood for a change. What I am really curious to see is if they can be disassembled, from the e-liquid.cn website it looks like the black aluminum cover can come off, but we know about assumptions.

I found 100 3ml BD syringes online for about 13 bucks, 20 bucks after shipping, at 20 cents a piece, I can repair a lot of clearos.

If the giantomizers have an aluminum cover, is it just slid over a clear tube? If so, wouldn't these start to crack after a while? I don't think I would want the aluminum in contact with my juice.

I think even if these function as well as a standard CE2 xl, the price of them is going to be a hurdle. It's going to have to come down. I have heard here and elsewhere (including myself) of concerns over the price. For the price of 1 Giantomizer you can get a 5 pack of CE2's, almost a Mega atty or any other atomizer for less. If they function far above CE2 standards, I for one will not gripe about the price. We'll see.

The price is kind steep and I don't know how these could perform considerably better than a regular CE2, unless they've completely redesigned the internals. Maybe they wick better if the seals are different...but I've modded my clearos to fix that. I think I'll just stick with my XL clearos, 2 of those hold about the same as 1 giantomizer, and right now there are more ohm choices for the clearos.

I've been running the same 4 clearos for a few weeks with only one failure which was my fault..I screwed up the wick. I do have one that seems to be leaking a little internally that I can't quite figure out..I think it's around the heatshrink at the cup or air tube. I just wish I could thread the wick from that one into the one I screwed up.

I posted this on another thread...but figured I'd post here too in case somebody misses it...

A friend just dropped by with one of these to try…First impressions…It’s big…with the rubberized(?) tip attached it’s about the size of an eGo pass-through battery..It’s heavy…It looks pretty well made….and holds a lot of juice…Blew it out…didn’t seem to have any primer residue…Smooth, easy draw…So far the flavor is very muted…but I just filled it and started vaping…The eGo tank produced better flavor for me right out of the chute …but that didn’t last very long and I quit on them after 3 atomizers performed sub-par….I’m heading out with it now and will give it a chance to "break in"…Will report back later…

... I'm pretty happy with my mega attys and they are very easy to refill but I like the 3.7 ml capacity of these and the window. I've never tried the ce2 cartos but I've read alot of pro and con on them. At least you can use a pipette to refill them, I just can't get the hang of using a syringe.

JSYK - It's very easy to fill an E2 with an eye dropper. I keep all my juice in glass bottles that have eye dropper canps on them. Also, gotvapes.com has a plastic bottle with a blunt needle on the end of it. Makes refilling just about anything a snap.

Do you know the ohm rating for the one you tried?

Just got my Giantomizers and so far they are a failure. Hard draw on actual Ego battery, wicking is horrible. To MJBinNM the internals are different, the wick specifically. It uses a much fatter single strand wick. I did the same thing as you and bought syringes off e-bay and "fixed" my clearo's.

So far I have only opened one, not opening the other 2 as the first one is so bad. I tried it right out of the package, little to no wicking. Removed inner seal, cleaned, dry burned, reassembled, still very poor wicking and a terrible draw. Snaked a pipe cleaner up the center tube and it was obstructed, draw while not connected to ego much improved. Screwed back onto the Ego, hard draw, still no wicking. Removed inner seal replaced mouthpiece (can't really use it like this for long) still little to no wicking. Hot, dry, nasty hits. Never had this problem with CE2's, and I have had a lot of them, both stainless and clearo's. At this point I am ......, going to give it a couple of days but, I don't hold out much hope.

Well I just got back from the casino…and while I didn’t lose my shirt…I did lose a part of my Giantomizer…Yup..I lost the tip of it…The tip is…for sort of like a rubber nipple that sets inside the Giantomizer…While it fits tight..the problem is it doesn’t seat very far inside the chamber… I noticed it get off- kilter a few times…but some time when I wasn’t paying attention it jumped ship…and was nowhere to be found…I’m sure as I type this…it’s being ground into the plush carpeting at the Mohegan Sun…Might be a problem for those of us that treat our e-cigs like tiny batons…:)

I preface this with my mundane vaping "habit"…I normally use regular eGo batteries and pass throughs topped off with genuine Joytech cartomizers…I mainly vape only 1 juice…100% PG coffee flavor from AV…I don’t bother with cleaning the cartomizers…I use it, refill it and throw it away when the performance drops off…For me….usually about 2 days…Anyhoo…

The flavor using the Giantomizer finally did start to pick up and become "acceptable"…nothing to knock my socks off…not bad…but not on par with my normal cartos…(I carried my regular setup with me and switched over every now and then to check the difference…It never leaked a drop…and doesn’t seem to be a juice hog…Unfortunately…it never did get any better from there…The flavor began to drop off and the draw tightened up a bit…’Course a lot of this might just be my coffee juice slowly working it’s "special" magic on the atomizer…I probably vaped through about 2/3 of the tank and on the way home switched back to my normal setup…..

Maybe with another power source there could be some improvement with these.. As far as cleaning the thing….I don’t know how you would it…the tank doesn’t seem to be removable from the atomizer…but it’s kind of hard to see what’s up inside and I didn’t fuss with it…

The Giantomizer…to me anyway…performs like the eGo tank system….that holds a lot more juice…I never got my tank system to perform to my satisfaction…but lots of others seem to have…I figure this system will probably end up being the same way …great for some and unacceptable for others…So..to summarize… I probably haven’t helped any of you one bit….

I just got mine in and filled it up. It was really easy to fill. There isn't a cap to pull off just the soft rubber tip like a driptip which I like. They said on their instructions to take about 20 hits without inhaling and it tasted pretty bad but after that it began to taste better. I used a pipette and it went right in the filling hole and I filled it to the top of the window, probably about 3 ml, I didn't want to overfill the first one. It is really nice looking and I love the window but the jury is still out on the taste. There is plenty of vapor though. I normally use mega attys and not cartos so it might take a little getting used to. If the taste improves I'm really going to like it alot. I will report back after a tank or two and let you know how I like it.

Good grief, I was hopeful for better reviews... This cant come apart and maybe fixed like the CE2?

In pictures it looks as though it comes apart to some extent?

I think the first ones out are 2.8 ohm on this release Zoidman, don't quote me on it but I think they are

I ordered 3 of these. The first one had a leaky window... The second ones seems to be ok but the same as the ce2's the 2.7 ohm seems to be running too hot on an ego and scorching the juice. I used the 3.0 ohm ce2's on my ego and it worked fine. I'm running into the same problem with these giantomizers. Still a little bit of a wicking problem... I haven't tried the third one yet.

I was going to send them back because of the leaky window but decided to try another one and keep them as parts units anyway. I've only been using the second one for about an hour. Seems to be getting a little better with wicking as I use it. I've been puffing so much that I need a break so... We'll see.

As far as using them on other batteries or mods it seems like you can just cut (dremmel) the ego threaded part off leaving a flat surface with a 510 connection but I haven't tried yet. Maybe I'll cut the leaky one up later today.

Yea cost prohibitive to even try at this point. I spend alot each month but not going to beta test at 45 for a pack of 5. I would think 5@20 might be more realistic.

That's just one particularily greedy vendor's price. Sterling Vapor has a more reasonable price of $25/3 pack.

Misleading picture, I have not got mine apart, yet. From the picture it looks like you can remove the aluminum sleeve from the internal plastic tank, when you see it in person it looks like the design has changed slightly. I don't see any plastic by the battery connector.

As my day with giantomizers progresses it seems that it is now wicking better than when I first broke it out. I filled then third cart and it is not leaking. Giant #1 leaks from the window and I wrapped it in tape. Still leaking badly even through the tape. Giant #2 took a breaking in period but is now providing plumes of vapor that tastes good after a break in period that lasted for approximately 1 ml of juice my other thought is that the ego battery was running at a slightly higher voltage right off the charger this morning. I haven't tried the third one yet but... I have high hopes. I would say the hold more in the range of 3.2 ml of juice not the advertised 3.7 but... That's enough for me in a day maybe longer.

Fill and forget. I like these things. I hope they last.

The next step is to cut the ego "collar" off (larger ego threaded part) to fit them to big battery mods.

I really want these to work because of the juice capacity and the window are just what I want. I've had a little leaking around the window but very little. I like the feel and looks of the rubber tip but it is easily knocked off if bumped and could be lost as happened to one person already. You can't replace the tip with a different type because there is a prong that plugs into the filling hole when inserted. It will be important to save tips when the unit burns out or they should throw in an extra one for every three you buy. I have two going with different juices and the taste and wicking has improved but still isn't near as good as my mega atty that I've been using for months. They are very nice looking and a perfect size match with the 1000 mah egos. I like them much better than the ego t but I will have to wait and see how long they last to decide if I will buy more or wait to try the 5 ml that is coming out in May.

I don't know if you need to go that far. You could use this or you could do something like this and finally, there is this option, which is very similar to the first one I linked to.

I think what you will find with MiT is that they tend to release New products before they have been completely tested. Kinks are found and MiT fixes them. I wouldn’t rule out the Giantomizer as a bad product just. More of a product that will go thru an evolution just like the E2 did.

Remember that we are the Beta testers. The first batch is going to have glitches. I tend to wait for at least a month before I buy New things made by MiT. That way, hopefully, I get a slightly more refined product that works better.
