yeah ive got 2 tractor supplys near me. neither have any in stock. they gotta special order it. a gallon is overkill for me lol. i think itll go bad before i use all that.

seems like someone mentioned a feed store or something like that at one point

Why not test with VG then? You can buy that at the corner drugstore - you'll have to cut it with distilled water (use about 20%) but my DIY juices are 100% VG.

Any national drug store chain or Wal-mart will sell you six ounces of USP glycerin for about eight bucks. I bought a 16oz bottle of VG from my local health food store for $9.

That is so crazy to me because I have droped my clear ones and twisted them on too tight and nothing, they keep going strong. Hmmm... Were they manufactured by smok?

Yep, they are the SMOK from MV. The cracks develop at the base where they screw onto the battery. The crack in one was bad enough that I was able to pull the clear cart right off the base. I still have that one. I should give the coils and such a good inspection, since they don't appear to be hurt.

Well aside from using some type of perm marker fine point or colored dots or nail polish I'm out of any other ideas unless you have an engraver and want to engrave them....But, here is the thing. My hubby has a Brady label maker for labeling cables in a/v racks. The material is pretty waterproof also. And they do make vinyl labels in all sizes for the Brady and for printing on deskjet or laserjet printers.

Edit: they do make drip tips for the ego type B atty that fit these emdccs. The metal ones come in many different colors, you would just have to keep track of them.

Just a thought for tracking/labeling - dental rubber bands, you know the colored ones for braces? Someone on ECF told me about that a long time ago, thought I'd pass it on.

Hmm, that is weird. Describe funky please. Burnt or just chemical tasting? Maybe let them sit with the juice for a few hours and then try again? I found I need to do that with these giant cartos. Also, the tips can have a real funky taste at first. With the 5V you might not notice anything funky cause it's so much warmer?

They have a light chemical taste at a lower voltage. At 5V, they taste great.

Out of the 2 I filled, I vaped one down and low and behold, I added some juice and it was dead. Wouldn't read on a multimeter. Well, I hope I have better luck with the next one. If I only get 2 days out of one, I won't be buying these again. I have 9 more to go and 10 more on the way so I'll keep you updated on how the vapingzone one's hold out.

@Vhal, I use 100% VG, well more like 85% 'cause I add 10% water and 5% flavoring. But my nicotine is 100 mg/ml in VG. And that works GREAT in the 2 ohm Boges, the Echo-e and in the MV EMDCCs. Well, EMDCC, singular, I'm still mainly using the one I started with almost 3 weeks ago. Good airflow, good taste. Great vapor.

You can order VG and PG from Lotioncrafter.com. A pound of USP PG, about 450 ml, is $6.75, twice that is $12, etc. Their USP VG is $6.75 for 40 oz, about 950 ml. Stuff tastes good to me. I've almost finished my first 950 ml in (I checked) 9.5 months. Almost 100 ml a month. Dang. They also have the cute MXT 100 scale at $25. Don't have to fill cartos blind any longer.

I see a dispenser of 5000 in 4 colors at $35. Any smaller quantity in more colors? Let's see, 10 drip tips in different colors .... $29.99. Another conspiracy.

i think i found part of the problem (maybe the only problem) with the emdcc's ... finally pulled the filler of one of the replacements that mad vapes sent me, and it's a full 2 inches longer than the filler of those very first ones that i received the first of july. the filler on the first ones was 3-1/2" long, and the latestest filler material is 5-1/2" long. a simple thing but a good reason why they will not hold as much juice and why juice leaks out (nowhere for it to go). the filler material seems to be the same material and thickness ... just way too long ... too much length to roll up and squeeze into the tube and still have enough room left for juice!

i'm notifying mad vapes of this and hoping they will get this problem resolved. :)

this seems like such a simple thing, i can't believe i didn't actually measure the filler to begin with. i'm trying to figure out how to remove an inch or two of the filler. with the dual coils in there you can't remove and reinsert filler, so how can i get some of the filler out? any ideas? anyone?

btw ... the shorter filler length came from the very first order and the very first emdcc that i vaped in july.

*(if someone else has noticed this particular problem prior to this post then i apologize for reposting)

Great observation Veggie, we have both said there was something different with the filler and now we know what that is! Thanks for posting this! Too much of a good thing in this case.....the carto is choking itself.

I'm curious about the thickness of the filler Veggiegirl, can you tell a difference? If it's thinner, then longer would not make a difference, but if it's the same material it certainly would make for a tighter packing.

very good analogy, joanr! :)

actually, i was wondering about that, too. right now, the filler i just pulled seems to have more thickness (more dense?) to it, but it's still a little wet. it's definitely not thinner. i do see slight burned places along the edge, too. this is just too much filler for these cartos. i'm going to wash this one again and dry it with the blow dryer. i think it's the same width and thickness but i'm not 100% yet. will know for sure in a little while.

UPDATE: this filler has the same width, thickness, and density to it ... it's just 2 inches longer (or 2 inches too long). lol

NEED SOME HELP HERE! if anyone else has any emdcc's that were purchased at the very beginning of july, can you pleased take tweezers and remove the filler from one and measure the length? be sure to run the filler under the faucet first so it's good and wet. i just insert one prong into the center hole of the wet filler and the other along the outer edge of the filler and it slides out easily. i think it would help to have backup. i'm hoping mad vapes can get this problem corrected.

just thought i'd mention that it would be nice if you had a "used" emdcc to pull filler from ... no need to try to destroy a new one. the ones that were first manufactured are like gold!

Nope! No Smok.

Well I'll give a try, what's the worse that could happen? Needed some Boge stainless anyhow....my hubby likes the emdccs and can never tell if they are drawing hard or not, he just knows when they need to be re-filled. I have to pry them loose from him to throw one away when it's too yuk.

Thanks for the sale!
