Where are your emdc's coils from? I just tried black, stainless, brown and black and gold from vapingzone no gap on my battery. I do not have any old smok tech egmdc left to check them. However I dont have a joye ego battery to test but rather a battery made by the same company that makes vapingzones ego twin coils

I know you weren't asking me...but my VZ EMDCCs and the Smok EMDCCs from Madvapes both fit my eGo batts just fine. There is a small gap on the VZs though. The VZ cartos do wobble just a bit too, but that's no biggie!

That said, my third EMDCC is hitting more like what I'm used to now. Still doesn't sound like a mad viper like the old ones did, but I'm liking it better than the previous two. Makes me seriously wonder about QC on these things...

Hey VG, I'm willing to bet that if one was to search for 'eMDCC' within the past five months, I'd be right near the top in pushin' 'em. In fact, I'll also bet that I pizzed a few members off due to my staunch eMDCC support and cheer leading.

But those days are *poof*. I'm still rockin' with a few origs and have a few in wrap left that I'm rationing for my fav flavs. Guess I gotta go Flux huntin'...

i know exactly how you feel(!) ... was bewildered at how others were having a difficult time vaping them myself. i sometimes wondered if we were talking about the same cartos, because i had no problems with them (certainly didn't mind adjusting the center post on the carto) ... that is, until i ended up with later, "improved" batches and started noticing some of the same problems i'd read about. i neglected to mention that mv's "improved" emdcc's (but exactly the same, according to mv), with the addition of more filler, also don't taste good either. i can actually taste the filler now, and i don't like it one bit ... brings to mind what vaping dishwater would be like to me! so "the hunt" continues ...

Which ego dual/twin carto's are we talking about here? Vapinzone and smok tech ego's are not made by the same company. I have chatted with the factory that is making vapingzones twin coil carto's. They are working on some different ideas to improve on there twin carto's. However I can say with certain that none of their " improved" are being sold yet to general public. They must be tested first ........

Makes me wonder if the ones from MV and VZ are the same...just unlabeled. I think the new ones at VZ are wrapped too tightly also.

EDIT - Apparently they are NOT made by the same company. Strange how they're having similar issues though...

i haven't tried vz's emdcc's yet, so, in my previous post, i was still referring to mv's cartos.

i just took my first few vapes from an epdcc (e-power dual coils) and got a ton of great vapor. i dripped approximately 130 drops of juice in this thing, let it sit for a few minutes, attached it to my vv box, and vaped. first impression is very good. the draw doesn't seem too tight or too airy, i'm getting good flavor, the vapor seems slightly warm (which i like), and i'm vaping at about 4 volts ... seems very satisfying. as i've been burned too many times with seemingly great products, i'm still reserving judgement. i just turned the voltage down to about 3.7 or 3.8 and it's still tasting good. this carto is pretty huge and has a rubber baby bottle tip, but, so far, i can't taste the rubber. i don't think there's a drip tip that will fit it. i'm also noticing some of the old snap, crackle, and pop i've learned to love. i only have 1 of these, so i'm hoping it will work out well. these do cost a little more, but they hold a ton of juice! i'll need a different adapter to use one of these on the 1300mah go-go batt i recently acquired.

revelation: the epdcc seems to work when directly attached to my ego's and ego clones. guess i only need an adapter for the go-go batt.

The emdcc's with the gap that I mentioned a few times I got from Vaping Zone, as mentioned about 2-10 pages ago I dunno. The batteries I use are from 3 different sources and they all have various amounts of gap (I measure in how many pieces of paper I can slide into the gap), with the Dark City Vapor battery being the biggest at 3. I know some people are visual learners so I took the effort to take some pics, with the Vaping Zone emdcc compared to a SMOK emdcc side by side on Dark City Vapor KGO batteries, and here they be:

Also, VeggieGirl: Today I stumbled upon a website that has black plastic drip tips that fit an emdcc. I don't know anything about whatever you're using, but if it's the same size then you're in luck

Veggie, who makes the e-power dualies, wow 130 drops is app. 6 ml if 20 drops = 1ml. That's a big carto. And it snaps? Is this a 510 connection also?

thanks, darth, but i already have 2 kinds of drip tips for the emdcc's ... one larger than the other. even tho they cost a little more, i prefer the larger ones from ecigexpress ... much easier to remove from and attach to the carto. :)

you got that right, joanr!!! i believe the product page on one site actually claims that it holds 6ml. :) who'd think a carto would actually hold as much as it's claimed to? lol and you know i'm vaping dark chocolate approx 50vg/50pg juice. i'm not sure who makes these cartos, but i got one from the smoktek site. they are also sold at go-gousa site.

I've been using the ePower dual coil cartos from GoGoUSA too, VeggieGirl, and I love them. One I used for a week before I burned the filler from letting it go dry, but it worked great up the the end. You can cut the rubber mouthpiece down and put a 510 drip tip in the remaining rubber piece. It holds either a 510 or a GoGo drip tip perfectly. This tip isn't mine, I read it on the GoGoUSA thread I believe.

Mine has "SMOK Dual Coils" written on them. They remind me of the EMDCC when they're (the EMDCC) working properly.

I haven't ordered from VapingZone, and out of the nine EMDCCs I ordered from MadVapes only one didn't perform. But it seems as though the quality of the EMDCCs is not quite up to par at the moment, so I've ordered 15 Resurrectors from Crystal Clear Vaping to try out. Good reviews on them from both here and the CCV site.

thanks for the tip on the tip, gooddog! :) is the diameter on the e-power dual coil carto the same as the diameter of the go-go batt? just glancing at it, it does look the same. i know i would need the go-go to 510 adapter, tho. so far, the epdcc reminds me of those first emdcc's, too! i'm getting great warm (not hot) vapor and good flavor ... just what i love. it looks kinda funny attached to my ego batt, but i don't care about that right now. i couldn't believe this carto actually holds as much juice as they say it will! since the mv emdcc's are no longer an option for me, it's good to know that i have another carto to use. i can still try vz's emdcc's, but these epdcc's hold even more juice. since you say yours have "smok" imprinted on them (mine don't), i'm a little disappointed as i've seen what's happened to the emdcc's.

this is an example of exactly what i've been saying: we are vaping apples and oranges that are all by the same name. that link is to the same "smok" product that most of us have been complaining about. i wonder how you can find them to be so great? i honestly don't get it. i have quite a few of those that don't hold juice, leak juice, and have a draw so tight it has pulled the muscles in my neck just trying to take a vape.

think i should add that no offense is intended here. i'm just in awe at how different the current mv emdcc's can seem to perform to different people. it does seem that it's a totally different product.

Original Madvapes EMDCC's - best so far. I'm glad I ordered 50 of them when they got them in. I ran the same one for almost 8 weeks before tossing it.

Second Run Madvapes EMDCC's - okay but the draw is harder on them and the flavor is a tad lacking to the original. Only bought 5 to try and won't be buying them again.

VapingZone - Killed one in 2 days. Another one lasted a week. I don't care for the chemical taste that I'm getting. I won't be buying anymore.

E-Power DCC's - I love them. Bought some from vaporjunction.com on sale and from madvapes. Both vendor's EPDCC's work the same. I run them on VV mods...huge vapor, flavor, and TH. I'm still using the same 2 out of 20 purchased since they were released. Performance has not decreased any.

I chose the Ressurectors for my first experience of cartomizers after using the proprietary eGo-T plastic tanks for three months and regular attys. These cartomizers are awesome and long lasting. I haven't cleaned them yet and its almost a month since ordering, and they're still working wonderfully. I'll never go back to the plastic tanks and attys... the attys were dying too easily and costing me a bundle. These Ressurectors are so cheap and long-lasting, I may not even bother cleaning them eventually and just treat them as throw-away. So while the EMDCC's are (or were) tempting... I don't see any remaining encouragement to try them... unless they want to sell them at the same price as CCV is offering the Ressurectors.

VeggieGirl, the EPDCC are larger in diameter than the GoGo but it looks much better than on the eGo battery and since it's 1300mah it will last longer between charges. I bet these were made to the same specs as the EMDCC when those first came out and they just haven't changed them... hopefully they won't.

I suspect when MV got their new order of EMDCC they just dumped them in with their remaining stock of EMDCC and that's why some are getting ones that work good. Or maybe the manufacturer did that instead of sending all new ones to MV.

Maybe a dumb question, but do the E-Power cartos work on Ego/Riva batts?
