Yes, mine are from madvapes. I'm sort of curious about what will happen with the new ones I ordered, since so many in this thread have had trouble. I've been very happy with the ones I got before.

I got mine from Madvapes last month. One was great (the clear one.) The other seemed to be only working with one coil. I may start ordering from there exclusively if the VZ ones don't get any better.

i just got caught up with reading all the very interesting posts in this thread for the past week or longer, and, from the way they read to me, it looks like some here are vaping totally different cartos than the emdcc's. some of you are vaping apples and some oranges. lol i know that's not true, but i also know the emdcc's don't seem to be consistent. i did get a few replies on my mad vapes ticket when i informed them about the emdcc's not working properly. the very last reply stated that the writer (paul) had vaped the very first mv emdcc's and also vaped some from the most recent batch, and they vaped exactly the same. mv insists there is nothing different about them. i find that very difficult to believe. as mad vapes seemed to find it difficult to believe that i actually found an unfavorable difference in performance between the first cartos compared to later ones i had ordered and also seemed to doubt my findings.

i just recently got my hands on a few cartos from an earlier batch that mad vapes sold, and i know there is a huge difference. it's just great to have one of the original emdcc's to vape again (and actually holds more juice, too). since i know the later mv cartos were stuffed with too much filler (less room for juice), i just wish there was some way i could remove part of the filler from them so i could salvage all the later ones i bought that don't hold as much juice, leak juice, and are practically impossible to draw on due to the excess filler swelling up and closing off the center hole. at this point, i'm just disgusted with the later mv emdcc's. i might try the vaping zone clones yet, but i now have an e-power to sample, too, and still have a few more of the original emdcc's that actually work properly. oh ... and not to forget the boge 2.0's that have been a life saver when all else failed. well, just tossed in my 2 cents again. :)

+1 on all the above, Veggie and I have been comparing notes on these cartos since July and we have both come to the same conclusion. They are different now and we don't like 'em anymore. We wish they would go back to the original filler length but until they address these issues they will continue to loose sales.

Ditto on the last two posts!

Actually, this issue is the first time I've been disappointed with an MV product. Especially when I and several others have discerned a noticeable difference in 'eMDCCs'.

I may not be a charter member within the vaping fraternity, but I do know that none of the present eMDCCs match the originals!

yes, it's too bad, really. somehow a really good thing was ruined. i'm sure mv will still sell these but not as many as they did. newer people who try them won't know how good they were, so they have nothing to compare with. also, i haven't found one of the newer ones from mv that holds as much juice as they still advertise. and you were right about the photo for the whistle tips, when you said it was probably an old photo. the last ones i received had the "smok" printed on them. someone else said that, if mv orders under a certain quantity from the manufacturer, they will have the "smok" imprint on the carto. i haven't a clue how mv is getting those recent good reviews on the product ... unless there are several different batches being sold. maybe giving new customers the better ones? something just doesn't add up. i won't be ordering any more emdcc's from mv, tho.

thanks, iffy! i know that back when i put my ticket of complaint in at mad vapes, i gave them the link to this thread and they were following it, but when i was asking for help to back up what i was claiming, it just didn't seem to happen. at least not enough of what was needed. mv just points out the good recent product reviews on their web site. i was even told that mv's owner was following this thread. anyway, i finally just gave up and decided to look elsewhere for another great vape. i'll eventually try vaping zone's and then, if that doesn't work, i'm going to forget about it.

Hello All,

The only complaint I've heard about on the EMDCCs from VapingZone is they don't screw on far enough for the skirt to cover correctly. Other than that, overall performance appears to be very good. If there are any other complaints, I missed them. I'm still using my first one I put into service over a week ago, and it's working perfectly still. Yes, if you look closely enough, you can see a small gap between the carto and the battery housing. I personally can live with that tiny gap. :vapor:

I think what you see here is so called new improved. Factories are always trying to improve be just a hair better than the other guy. When they make an improvement they try to please as many users as they can. If you increase air flow they last longer but then you lose a little flavor. Its a balancing act that does not always please all users.

I have used 3 different batches from vapingzone and they satisfy my needs. I feel on an ego battery they have an easier draw and more exhaled vape than smok tech's. When I use my roughstack at 6 vollts they rock.

Hey VG, I'm willing to bet that if one was to search for 'eMDCC' within the past five months, I'd be right near the top in pushin' 'em. In fact, I'll also bet that I pizzed a few members off due to my staunch eMDCC support and cheer leading.

But those days are *poof*. I'm still rockin' with a few origs and have a few in wrap left that I'm rationing for my fav flavs. Guess I gotta go Flux huntin'...

I think MGMRick may have hit it on the head! I think they've changed them to work better on high voltage or something. I could care less what the suppliers say...they HAVE changed. Nobody can tell me otherwise. They're still head and shoulders above what a Boge will do, but they're not nearly up to the Fluxomizer's capability after a seal mod. I can tell you definitively...I'm vaping both right now, and the Fluxomizer is literally making it impossible to see my screen...and it's well over two weeks in use. All three brand spanking new EMDCCs from VZ are just not cuttin' the proverbial cake anymore.

Oh, well - the wife still likes them :)

Still waiting on stainless resurrectors for the syringe tank. Apparently CCV got shorted a buncha stainless ones in their last shipment and they'll be in on Monday or Tuesday but it does kinda grind on me a little that I had to open a ticket to find that out. They did offer to send me black ones once I asked WTH my stuff was and I was tempted but I really don't wanna peel off a buncha stickers and clean the goo off a buncha cartos :)

Huh! Just when I was thinking that customer service was top notch with vaping suppliers...all this starts happening. I suppose things happen that are out of their control as well, but I would have been informing the customers of the situation ASAP!!

Yeah - I've heard great things about their customer service and they ship free. Prices are pretty good too.

My order confirmation said I'd get an email when the order shipped and when I didn't get that email after three days I opened a ticket and found out what was going on.

I think some of these folks are having growing pains - madvapes blamed USPS for it but I think they flat lost my order for LR 306 attys - it's the only order I've put in that never came back with a tracking number. To their credit when I opened a ticket they shipped same day and upgraded me to priority mail, but I think a few of the more popular vendors might be really, really busy.

I have to go back and edit my previous statement: in a well-lit environment I've confirmed that the Vaping Zone emdcc's dont screw down flush on any of my batteries. :p So... either I deal with a super airy draw or I file down the battery connection a bit. I'm curious if that would have any negative effect on the use of the other normal cartos, I can't think that there would be.

On a side note, the fact that there is a gap all the way around the bottom of the carto is in theory a GOOD THING. The way i hold my ego when I vape I often accidentally cover up both the air slits on the cartos with my finger and thumb, which gets annoying. And every time I screw on a carto the slots are in a different alignment vs the button and how i hold it, so it's random. But with the new carto I tried this morning from Vaping Zone it's too airy sooo... I started brainstorming. If I shave the battery connector down just a hair it'd lessen the depth of the slots on the battery lip, still fit snug, and I'd still have a tiny all-around gap below the carto, yes? I think I'll try that :)

Well I have done this and can say it's awesome. my cartos still have a slight gap from the battery, which means it doesn't look weird and I can't fat-finger stifle out the air flow ;) . I did have to file out the slits on the battery connection skirt after filing down the whole thing, because naturally I filed away the slits. But hey, who cares. I'll exclusively order more vaping zone emdccs because of their 'flawed' fit. Now, if only they could make their new ones last more than ~3 days like all the recent ones I got...

IF this were true (and do you have any proof besides speculations?) then I would be wondering why they just didn't make a separate version of it for that, like many other manufacturers do.

No, I have no proof...hence the "or something like that" at the end of my statement. I'm just grasping at straws here...it's all speculation at this point. But I DO know that they've changed.

I just unwrapped one and checked it with an ohmmeter - 1.5 ohms so that ain't it :(

Where are your emdc's coils from? I just tried black, stainless, brown and black and gold from vapingzone no gap on my battery. I do not have any old smok tech egmdc left to check them. However I dont have a joye ego battery to test but rather a battery made by the same company that makes vapingzones ego twin coils
