I think these dual coils haven't changed at all...I think we have built a tolerance to the bigger vapor production..When I first got them It was WOW!!! HOLY S**T!!!! Now its just nice... I vape at 4.2(3.7) , 6, and 7 volts... I use many different cartos. Singles, duals at 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0ohms... Yes I do get a bad carto once in awhile, sometimes too much, but If I use a carto that cost me 3.00..I still saved 3-5 bucks a day on those coffin nails...So I don't whine and complain, that these cartos suck or got worse..vaping is saving my life...

I respectfully disagree. The original eMDCCs lasted me considerably longer than the subsequent 'models'. IMHO, I've been using the same flavs all along and the newer cartos do not give the same 'used' performance nor have the 'life' of the origs.

Mine have been doing alright. I never ended up with any from the first batch of round tip ones.. I wasn't low on cartos while they were out of whistle tips, so I never ended up ordering any round tips at all. The last ones I got from mv didn't have the 'smok' branding on them, but otherwise seemed identical to the second bunch I got.

I have a couple of VapingZone emdccs going and a couple of MV's smoketech emdccs going right now. My preference still leans a little toward the Smoketechs for the slightly tighter draw and filler that handles 100% VG better. I do like them both and all of the newer ones have performed as expected. So far, all of the vapingzone emdccs have worked on any ego or ego clone I have and I haven't had any more connection problems with the smoketechs since the first batch. I did, however, get one more that had bad threads.

I'm no longer cleaning any of them. I just toss them when the flavor changes or vapor drops off noticeably.. or if a coil quits (have had that happen with both kinds a couple of times).

My experience is probably not exactly comparable to others though. I don't vape emdccs exclusively. In fact, most days, they probably don't account for 50% of my vaping. I use other cartos (mostly regular 1.6 ohm dccs and the good 'ol boge 1.8 and 2.0 ohm) and I drip LR 510 or 306 attys the last two or three hours of every day. And, most days, I spend at least an hour with a map tank. -- So, my cartos tend to last quite a while since I probably have 4 different kinds of carto plus a few attys going at any given time.

I disagree as well. The ones I had before were considerably better than the ones I have now...performance wise. The vapor production from these is marginal at best. I'm not sure about longevity as I'm only on day three rotating two EMDCCs, but at this rate, I'll likely stick with Fluxomizers until they get this straightened out.

As an end note, I don't think anyone is "whining and complaining." When you find something that works so well, then find it changes somehow, it's a little disappointing.

I disagree as well.

As do I.

Maybe what VZ said is true - that there have been a few bad cartos in the production run. I can't argue with the fact that all the VZ cartos came from the same shipment so maybe the manufacturer has one machine that's a little out of adjustment.

Gave all the EMDCCs but three to the wife anyway - I'm using a syringe tank mod now and have three boxes of resurrectors due in today to put in the tank :D

I have GOT to find a place to buy those syringes...saving ordering on the net for last possible option.

I've been rotating two EMDCCs from this latest order. This is the 3rd day with them. I've noticed as I use them, they seem to be gaining in performance just a bit. Still not what they were yet, but getting better anyway. I'm wondering if they're just wrapped a little too tight or something...maybe the juice takes a while to break the fluff down or something like that???

Do you remember if they had >20ml syringes? You could start out with those - I think a 60ml syringe would be overkill, but my local TSC had 35ml syringes.

I'm down to the last of the 8 i ordered at the end of August. Still have quite a few good ones going around. The others that I let with too long with juice in them are a little clogged but I'm sure I could get a lot more life outta them (ended up filling them with a lot of different flavors I was getting into). I've been almost using emdcc's exclusively along with my bulli a2's. Can't see ever buying chinsy expensive atties for a while!

Was wondering ur thoughts on the clear ones. Woule be interesting to see where the juice is at and maybe modify a few. Was going to grab a couple w my next order. Are they worth it?

I'm anti-clear any sort of carto. Clear cartos (of all sorts, not just emdccs) have a couple of problems. The first is that some juices eat the clear plastic. That leads to cracking and leakage. The other problem is simple durability. My work and play both involve a lot of rough physical activity - and clear plastic tube cartos break easy. I am far less than fond of them.

I'll look again, but I didn't even see a loose bin.

I guess every store will be different, but at my store the boxes of syringes and needles were on a sliding pegboard and if you rolled it to one side there were four bins with single syringes in them. Can't say if it'd be the same at your store, though.

I'm still using the same SMOK-branded EMDCC (from madVapes) that I started with, a month or so ago. I rotate it with other types. It sucks when I overfill it (so tempting), and then gets better as I vape it down (and blow it out). There's a sweet spot I haven't quite pinpointed, maybe 25% down from saturated. The taste is still excellent, the vapor huge. They just draw too much current to be my steady vape. The Boge 2.0 is subject to overfilling too. The Echo-e produces a little less of a bit gooier less flavorful vapor, but at less demanding current. The single coil seems less subject to reduced draw.

Spoke too soon! One of them started tasting like burnt plastic, so I tossed it. The other has now started with a hard draw and little vapor production. This is only day 4 rotating two of them. Looks like I'm gonna be ordering some more Fluxomizers. Sheesh!

I'm down to one EMDCC that I'm using now, and one more (one of the clear ones) still in the box. I ordered more of them a couple of days ago that haven't arrived.

I've had good luck with all of mine when new, but after 10 days or so, they start getting clogged and need replacing. At first, I tried cleaning them, but I didn't have much luck with that. And since they hold so much juice, if you refill one after cleaning and it doesn't work well, you end up wasting a lot of juice. That sort of offsets any gains in re-using one, and I decided it's just not worth the trouble. So now, I use them 'till they clog, I wash them in hot water, and I have a place to store "used" EMDCC's. I don't expect to use them again, but in an emergency, I could get by with those for awhile.

Under $3 each, and they'll last 10-14 days for me before they need to be replaced, means $6 to $9 a month - that's not enough to worry about. I was spending more than that on cigs every day.

You must be using the ones from Madvapes, right? Mine are from Vaping Zone. I used to like them a little better, but after this bunch...that may be changing. I opened my third one this morning. Thus far it's better than the other two have been. But one down after 4 days ain't that great for the price.
