Quality control is out of the control of usa resellers of product made overseas. What will happen is the more they make the better the quality control will get. This is a very new market that just gets better everyday. I am in it for the long haul I can deal with the growing pains

Ya' know you make a lot of sense there. I wish we could get some of this stuff made over here if we could keep it affordable.

A couple weeks ago I saw a 2600mah ego knockoff (I like the knockoffs better than the name brand)...it's being beta tested right now. I don't know if they will ever be released but I bet they are. People want them...healthcabin or heavengifts had them available if you spent $250 you could get one to try out. I don't remember which site it was and I just checked both and it's gone. I'm sure it will turn back up eventually...keep your eyes peeled.

Edit: It's healthcabin.

Wow. From the picture, it looks like that one would explode like a handgrenade if it went catastrophic...lol

Yes. The kit came with not fantastic "forged" BRC 18650 batteries, they're more like 1000 mAh in performance. I use them anyway, until I can find some that are a real 2000 mAh and not over 18mm diameter. He had no idea and he's working on it (he's a really good guy), but just don't expect 3000 mAh.

I believe that 17670's would work. Also available in AW's. To stay on topic I've tried the EMDCC's from VZ and they are performing ok so far. One had a weird taste from the get go so I tossed it to the side. The 2nd one is performing well. I used an empty ego type B cart as a mouth piece. Had to trim it down a bit and I prefer the feel of it compared to the rubber.

My last two emdcc's ended up lasting about dozen puffs at night and then were pathetic in the morning. Sigh. Time to try something else. So that ePower looks neat, so does the Fluxomizer. Hmm...

Yo, Darth, where did you buy those? And in what way "pathetic"? The 6 I got from MadVapes all look good, but these are so durable I'm still using the same one I started with what, 6 weeks ago?

Vaping Zone. And here's what I mean. Load one up with juice at night, take a few puffs, delicious, strong, all is good in the world. Next morning wake up, take a few toots, very little vapor, almost no flavor (but it's a bad flavor at that), carto heating up real fast, basically performing as though near empty. Put 10 drops of liquid in, puddle of liquid comes out. Son of a....

Why does it seem like when a new thing comes out and it's good, I mean really good, it only stays good until it catches on and becomes popular, then goes straight to hell?

Well, I can't be without vaping too long before my new goodies come in (resorting to my echos for now) so I ordered another 5 pack of emdcc's from Vaping Zone. I can pray that one or two of them will work for a few days. Or at the very least, not invoke the magical carto gnomes to come at night and take a steamy dump in them.

I hear they got a new shipment in, so they should be good to go. Let us know how the new Vaping Zone EMDCCs do, please.

6 weeks? Wow. I tend to get 10 to 14 days out of one, then it starts to gum up or something and I don't get much vapor. I tried cleaning them, and while that worked sometimes, at least half of the time after cleaning, they didn't work well. And you don't know if they'll work well until you've put a whole bunch of juice in them.

So now I use them until the draw starts to get bad, then I swap out for a new one. The old ones get cleaned, and I put them aside to use as emergency backups. One of these days, I'm going to cut one apart to see how they look on the inside.

They are under $3 each, so even if they last a week and I replace them for a new one, that's under $12 a month. If that plus juice is my ongoing monthly cost, and I compare that to what I was spending on cigs, I'm can't see anything to complain about.

I've gotten about a month out of one at best. But generally they last me about 2-3 weeks. But I use clear juice.

30 years of smoking, over 3 packs a day before I started vaping. Then I bought an eGo. Cigarettes have lost their power over me. I've been free since 10/06/2011.

CONGRATULATIONS! I love your signature line. I have a like story, but I've quit since 2-5-2011 after smoking about the same amount over 40 years. I tried numerous times to stop smoking, and nothing came close to working until I tried vaping. I told my wife after the first try that I could stop smoking with vaping. If you haven't already started feeling better - you will, and you will taste and smell things that you've missed for many years.

Now, to put this back on topic - EMDCCs are my favorite cartomizers and they offer the greatest convenience with such large capacity - not to mention the excellent overall performance.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure about the "feeling better" part. Honestly, despite all the smoking I did, I never really felt bad, I'm pretty active, I didn't wake up coughing and such.

I haven't noticed taste coming back yet, but I am starting to smell things that I wouldn't have smelled before. That's not always a good thing. :)

Just got the new shipment samples in from Vaping Zone, and I'm in heaven again thus far. This is what I've been missing. Easy draw, hit like a pi$$ed off prize fighter and awesome taste. I'll let you know what happens for the long(er) term, but so far so good! Now...where was I...:vapor:

Got mine today too. Looks like the packaging is different - again - but they seem to work pretty okay out of the box.

I just purchased 5 from SmokTek simply for the purpose of trial and review. This is the only one I haven't tried, so I thought it was time. I'm happy to hear the good news from VapingZone. I would sure miss the EMDCC if we couldn't keep a good source for WORKING EMDCCs.
