Nhaler also has them cost more but you get a choice of ohms 1.5,2.0,2.5 the 2.5 is great on provari.

You're still confused about which dual coils are being discussed in this thread. These are eGo specific and not built to work natively on anything but eGo and eGo clone batteries. They look just like an eGo-mega atty but a little bit longer.

Ill look threw the thread again but was there a particular eGo clone that they did work well on or was it just Joye stuff they always fit??

It's hit and miss even with genuine eGo batts. Both of my operating cartos worked right away on my 1000 mah eGo batts but neither would fire on my 650s or any of my clones without adjusting the center pin in the cartomizer. Once I lifted the center pin in the cartos a bit, they worked on every eGo and eGo clone I have.

I've been monitoring the numbers of these left at Mad Vapes site, too. I wonder how long before they raise their price on these? Is it possible they won't? And I just noticed that COV only had 53 of these left compared to over 6,000 at Mad Vapes.

Don't know but compared to the cost of the Giantomizers or some others, they are cheap! Gonna order a few more on payday this week.
So far no leaking whatsoever, I managed to vape one dry already, have to cut back! Haven't been to COV for these yet, gonna take a look see to see if they are the same ones.

Ok, they are not exactly the same. The tip has more of a curve to it as below;

Or is it just my imagination? LOL

I think I need to get more of these pretty soon, too. The description on Mad Vapes looks the same to me, but I already spoke too soon a while ago. Mad Vapes has loads more than COV, so maybe they'll keep the cost down.

I think yer right! They don't look like the same ones at COV! On the other hand, I just check mine at an angle, and it could be the same, but it also looks a little more angular, so who knows?

I think it's just the angle of the pic. I held mine up to the pic and it's probably the same thing. If all of these are Smoktech then it would be the same, right? Well if nothing else I won't be investing a whole lot more bucks trying out different cartos. I like the DCs and now I like them even more. I still want a VV box to try HV vaping though, and as soon as MV gets more of those 35 dollar VV boxes I'm gonna spring for one.

It's the same with me ... won't be investing time and money looking for that better carto. I want to move on to a MOD, too, but the MODs that this can be used with this seem to expensive. I guess that's why they make adapters, tho. The hunt never ends. lol Will these work with the $35 MOD you're referring to?

Wow, all mine fired right up on my remaining 650s. Is it a threading problem also or just a contact problem or maybe both? I have a pink 650 that has oddball threading, genuine eGo, it's just hard to thread anything into it. It won't fire up some of my XL DCs but it did work fine with these jumbos, just have to get over that glitch in the threading.

Probably not easily, they are 510 but these have the skirt thingie to fit the egos, I'm thinking more of the XL DCs for the box. Just a box, not a bottom feeder type. I was also looking at a few VV ego type batts but there are only a few that I found that would do both 3.7 and 6V with a battery change up. Gotvapes is talking about a VV ego coming out soon. I'm waiting to see what that's all about.

EGO VV would be nice. I've seen some MODs that these will fit nicely on, but they cost lots more. I suppose I could save up for one, though. This EMDCC is working nicely on my EGO 650 passthru, too, right now, so I really don't have to worry about batt's for a while, but I wanted true 3.7 or better.

It's just a contact problem, I think. it might be a combination of things... but I have to defer to Hoogie because he has far more experience. I originally thought the guts were pressed in to the casing of the cartos just a little bit too far. Hoogie says they're accurate and I lack a method to measure and compare to my eGo megas and eGo-t's, so I trust he's right. - That led me to lifting the pin on the carto. If the guts are pressed in the right distance and the skirt isn't bottoming out and interfering with proper contact, then it is the point of contact which is the center pin of the carto or the center post of the battery. Since these only worked "out of the box" on my two eGo 1000 mah batts and none of my dozen or so other eGo and eGo clones, I'm blaming the carto and not the batteries.

I'm using the eGoDCCs on 650, 850 and 1000 'eGo' batts with no issues at all.

I bought a used Old Goat to try out a bottom feeder mod. No joy for me. But since I got the eGoDCCs, I'm looking no further for a better vape. Probably sometime in the future there might be a better combo. But for now, I'm a very happy camper!

You´ll need a 510 to ego adapter. Then it should work fine.

I don't know when they will be back in stock but I'm assuming we would also need to buy at least 4 batteries, 2 charging while other 2 in use and a battery charger for them. All in all still under 100 bucks. I don't think the boxes come with batteries. I'm probably going to wait and see what's up with the ego VV before I buy anything else.
Day two with the EMDCCs and I'm very happy with them. No problems at all. Can't speak regarding longevity or how they would run after a cleaning, but I use 70PG/30VG juice and no issues, even have one filled with 50/50 and hits great. Haven't put any real dark or thick juice in any of them yet, since I don't like any of those anyway and won't waste one of these gems on experimenting.

The only ones I'll never buy again are any of the clear ones (it's a lifestyle thing - I need something more durable)

Hoosier supply has the bigger cones to fit over the dual coil clear cartos which makes it more durable or you can file, sand, or grind down (about 1/8") the small end of your existing cone until it fits. That's what I did and it works perfectly....

I think that I'm on day 4 or 5 with my EMDCC (Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer), and it's every bit as good as day one. If anything, the flavor may be better and more full. Overall performance is unbelievable on this thing. If you haven't tried it, you owe it to yourself to try one. To limit confusion, here it is:

I have to concur. I thought they were pretty good on the first fill. They got better on the second, and seem to be completely broken in and ready to pour out vapor from the third fill onwards. They wick VG juices really well. They handle a nice range of voltage (finally hit one with my 6.0v set up tonight - fresh off the charger batts actually closer to 7.0v unloaded and 6.2v loaded). That scorched the juice, but I expected it and threw that one in boiling water for another cleaning session.

If anyone decides to drop sixty bucks on an eGo booster DonDaBoomVape reports that is will drive dual coils at least well above 4 volts (should be a beautiful way to vape these getting around 4.5 or 4.6v)

I've torture tested these cartos and they are going to hold up. I've used my most carto-killer juice in one, I've boil cleaned, I've vodka cleaned, I've chainvaped them so hot that I could feel the ambient heat on my face... They get better and better. The flavor holds up and actually improves when the filler starts to swell. I vaped one completely dry, and after filling, the dry nasty taste went away. I've run them at 3.2v, 3.7, 4.2v, 5.0v, and now 6.2v and they took it without blowing a coil or ruining the filler.

I'm probably going to set these down for a little while starting tomorrow. I have a shiny new box of triple coils on the shelf calling to me to experiment with and abuse for the next few days to see how they handle the worst I can do to them.

I had been thinking about getting the roughstack (ya, I know the EMDCC won't work with it), so I'm also undecided. I'd also like to see what happens with the EGO VV. Since I've mostly been using the atty/cart combo since I started vaping, I'm very pleased with the mega dual coil cartos and will get some 510 mega dual coil next. I was having problem with draw over the past few months, and these EMDCCs are so easy on the draw that I'm actually happy to be able to take shorter vapes and happy to be using cartos again. I've found that longer vapes on these actually make my head spin. lol That's good news for me, as I don't want to be using that much e-juice.

I thought my first EMDCC was giving out on me, but it's still going strong into day 6, and I haven't cleaned it yet. I'm definitely sold on cartomizers, now. It's nice to know I can go somewhere and not have to worry about refilling or carrying extras with me all the time. I like that these seem to be consistent. Yesterday, I did open the 2nd one, tho, to use a different flavor, and it didn't seem, to be firing as good as the first one, plus, it hesitates quite a while before firing. Not sure if this one is a dud or not. It still works ... just not as well and seems to have a harder draw. Also, I blew it out a little before I filled it, so maybe I screwed it up myself. It also seems to get much hotter than the 1st one, too. I want to try another flavor in the 3rd one, so maybe I'll have better luck with it. I still have the little plastic end caps from some regular EGO mega's (syringe fill), and they work great on these EMDCCs ... nice to have them for carrying an extra carto with me when I'm going to be gone longer ... just in case. Also, the end caps allowed me to add even more e-juice ... absorbed all of it overnight.

UPDATE: There seems to be about a 3 to 4-second delay on firing with carto #2 and it has a little harder draw, so I have to take a longer vape, but still works better than anything I'd tried before. Is it possible that I may have killed one of the coils? Or would that have killed it totally? Is this just the nature of the beast, maybe?
