I have also found that the KGO1100s from Hoosier is a great all around battery. It gives more flavor than the Riva1100 and provides a long battery run using LR and Dual coil cartomizers.

yea ... another kgo fan! until i get around to trying mods or vv mods, i'm happy with mine. after 5 months of vaping, i'm still such a novice and don't have experience with that many different batteries, attys, carts, tanks, and cartos but was getting discouraged with all of it until i found the emdcc. i think i can finally relax a little and just enjoy.

anyone need a great laugh at ourselves(?) ... along the lines of what's been written in this thread about vapor, th, amount of juice used, etc., check out this video:

EGO-G , sign me up for two of them and a gallon
of juice. And while I wait for the EGO-G I have
since ordered 10 EMDCC's from Mad Vapes along
with a couple of switches and and two 510
connectors. I'm going to build a 3.7v flashlight
mod so I'll have an EMDCC-ADS , (All Day Sucker).

lol ... i just noticed that mv only has a tad over 1900 of these left and am wondering if i should be ordering a few more, just so i'll feel more secure. these emdcc's have really changed vaping for me ... heading toward zero nic (almost). next, i'll be ordering just flavors to add to my vg. i wish i were technically inclined so i could build my own pv ... so great for anyone who can do that! :)

Better grab about 10 more at that price, I think judging by the way these are selling, the next batch may be priced higher. Hope not though.

Update from me:

I've ran nearly 20ml through one EMDCC and still no burnt taste or off-flavors. Two 10ml bottles, with probably 1-2ml of juice still left in the carto, I'm going to see how dry I can vape this thing before it starts tasting burnt, then clean it. If the taste doesn't go away, big deal, I've got several more, and at least I'll know how close to empty I can vape them before they taste bad.

I'm using clear juice though, MadVape's Green Apple, so I wonder how long these things would last with a really dark and thick juice like some of the coffee flavors.

I'm a little annoyed with Mad Vapes. The dual coil cartos don't work with the batteries in the kit. Yea, I know there may be a fix which I have tried and it didn't work. But I didn't buy these at a discount. I sort of expect things to work as sold when I buy them. Also there wasn't an AC adaptor with the kit. Now I have to buy it separately and pay postage for it. I wouldn't mind buying it but I wish it was stated when I bought it.

I'm sorry I didn't just buy an echo-e or a kit from Hoosier.

I just 'committed' (re reordered) to another 20 eMDCCs.

After three weeks, I'm getting some harder draws, but still have the flav and vapor.

Gonna do an Iffy clean of the ones I'm using prior to a week's trip down to da Keys later this week.

What is your cleaning method? Does it involve PGA or jewelry cleaners?

i started with a freshly charged kgo batt at 930am this morning and it just totally drained at 745pm ... was vaping quite heavily without using my passthru, so i ended up with 10 hours of vaping. it did get a little weak the last half hour, tho. just thought i'd mention that. it really feels good to have a fresh batt going now!

you may be right! i just finished putting another order in at mv. they seem to have such a great turnover that i'm hoping they won't raise their prices when they run low, or out of these, and restock.

i just put some mad vapes "kona mocha 36mg" cut with vg to 18mg into one of my emdcc's. thanks for reminding me how much i love the kona mocha! i'd like to know how these cartos hold up with this type of juice, too. only thing is, i'm going to order more of it at 6mg ... finding i can't take that much nic in these emdcc's. if i need to add more nic, i can always do that, but, for right now, i'm sitting with diluted kona mocha in the carto. it's still very, very dark. i'll try to remember to post my results.

Thanks! So I'm clear, you're using the line on the syringe so it's flush with the carto?

The tip end of the fuel line is flush with the tapered syringe tip. The fuel line is inserted into the filler end of the carto.

As soon as I find where my bride put the camera, I'll take some pics.

thanks ... can't wait to hear the result! did you use distilled water? i opened my first emdcc on july 8 & the third one about a week later (the 2nd one was a dud), so i have about 10 days of vaping on that first one now ... still comes out to a great price for these, even after finding a dud. it would be a great price anyway because of finally finding something that works so great in all areas ... not sure what price you can put on that. i finally ordered a drip tip for these yesterday ... can't wait to get it! i guess the "rubber tasting" rubber tip on these would be the only major drawback for me.

I did the hot water flushing straight out of the tap. I just don't want to do any radical cleaning or go to any trouble after something so cheap has been in service so long. Please let me know if the drip tips work out because I would also like to buy some of those. By the way, some of the ones you think might be a dud aren't. You can gently lift up just slightly on the round piece of the battery post and have them in service. I put three more in service today, and I thought one was a dud. It wasn't - it's working perfectly after an extremely minor adjustment. I'm talking about such slight adjustments that you use almost no force at all. It might be in the thousandths of an inch and they work.

eGo mega type-b drip tip is the right one. I used one of the rubber tips that they come with for about 10 minutes and tossed them all in the garbage in favor of my drip tips.
