eGo Mega/XL ZFM (Zero Filler) Cart Mod

Yeah, so for spits and giggles, I kept playing with the carts for the Mega/XL atty... Figured I have a few, so I better find something workable.

I didn't have a KR808 carto, so I used the silicone cap from a 510 instead. Works perfect. I vaped for a few minutes then noticed a reduction in vapour, so I took the cap back off to take a look... All the juice was gone. I only put a few drops in to test it, just in case it leaked... and the cart vaped dry.

So for those of you who do not have an eGo-T, or were having better luck with the XL... this is about as good as it gets, IMHO.

I tried that with a 510 carto plug on an eGo XL Type A (cone style). It worked, but after a few drags I'd have to wait for some juice to leak to the atty. I tried putting a little poly in the hole of the plug to wick to the atty but it made it worse, gonna try using a piece of actual wick. If I leave the eGo standing up, it will flood the atty. Still a lot better than the poly filler though, and it does vape the cart dry.

Interesting. I didn't have that problem. I was vaping PG juice though... maybe that was the difference?

Did you try cutting the X or line across the hole?

I didn't cut it, since it was prone to leaking already. Seemed like it would release a bunch of juice to the atty a little too fast (that's why I tried the poly in the hole), it would be gurgly at first, I just vape through it and it's fine. When the juice in the atty is done, I lose flavor and know it's time to give it a rest for a minute. I thought maybe it's the 510 carto plug I'm using. My juice was 80/20 and 50/50.

Meh, I got a Reo Grand lol
