eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil

I had an ego one mega and I didn't dislike the vape, but it whistled and I couldn't get it to stop and it drove the husband crazy. I wound up giving it away.

I had another tank that took the CLR coils and I love the coils, but I managed to kill it off and while I could replace the 510 pin (it's unfixable) it was a pretty small capacity (like 1.7 ml) and I was refilling constantly, so I figured (since I just bought a bunch of the coils) that I would try something different, with larger capacity... @Sugar_and_Spice, I will check out the Tron S.

I'm not having a problem, just looking for any pointers as to a nice MTL tank that takes those coils and has maybe larger capacity (but I'd be worried about getting another ego one mega).

Gotta remember where I saw the ego one mega tube vape kit on sale for $9.99 yesterday (I was preparing for failure). Right. That will be an interesting journey through my internet of 1/3/18. I just set up with my new insurance plan to get home delivery and most of my copays are magically jumping to $0 so I feel sort of justified about it...

The original Ego One tanks are getting hard to find. The Ego One V2s are available here Joyetech eGo ONE Mega V2 Tank at a reasonable price.

I never had any whistling with any of my Ego One tanks. I use them exclusively.

Love my Ego One Mega v2's. Have used em elusively for over a year. I recall having that whistle once or twice and I believe I just tightened up the coil or the top cap of the coil.

You're better off with the Ego One v2 than the Tron-s. Unless you like colored tanks, no stainless in tron-s

Vape shop is quicker and a reasonable price for the mega's. I will say I love these tanks and have never had whistling either. Just be sure to tighten the coil. When you think its tight, tighten it again.(not kidding) lol......

@stols001 Anna, I found a whistler. I had some 1 ohm cl coils around from kits (the ones with the mesh at the top) and yes, I was whistling while I worked today.

ETA-- I have a ton of the CLR coils, was using them in my Wismec tank that broke, but I bookmarked it in case I need more ( ). Been jonesing for them actually....
