Thanks, all of you.

So you think the vise is too much? :D I will squish it will pliers!

Anything that let's you put it back to close to where it was. I used needles, but if you prefer a vice. Go easy!

I'd destroy it with a vice.

Kat's done it too (pliers). It works (almost every time).

My hubby knocked my pico with mega off the bench in the garage to the cement floor. I heard the noise but hoped it was the measuring tape. It wasn't. I was like NOOOOOOOOOOO! Hubby told me to go order a couple more to make up for it.

The base is messed up, like something press fit behind the airflow ring has come undone. Hard to explain, but the base now slides up or down inside the air flow ring but it all doesn't fit inside the ring at once. If I push the bottom of the base back in, the top sticks out too high to screw the tank together normally. (see pic) It reads No Atomizer.

Is there any way to fix this? I though maybe I could squeeze it in a vise or smack it with a hammer to squish it all back together but figured I should ask for advice first. I looked for any repair videos but apparently I'm the only one that wants to fix this kind of thing, lol.

PS Since I was outside and didn't want to accidentally vape any bugs I had one of those silicone covers over my MM drip tip, don't laugh, not a mark on it. Hubby lucked out.

Late to the gathering
I have had success re -seating that part by putting a small socket a 5/16 or 9/32 will clear the 510 threads and then tapping it with a hammer. : )

Has anyone here tried the Ares 2? If you have, how does its airflow compare to that of an EGO One with a wide-open 1.0 Ohm CLR?

Sorry, I missed your post somehow... I do have Ares 2 and I like it. I haven't used my eggies in a while, but I believe that the draw on both is quite similar. Ares 2 is adjustable, and wide open offers a quite loose MTL.

Thanks, Katya! How’ya doin’? Is your Ares 22 or 24”? Still using the Hastur?

I was using an MD MTL RTA for a spell. Good, but finicky with respect to wicking. Thought I’d try a couple of other tanks before stuff starts disappearing from the market. Also thinking of a Tripod clone. I’ll prob get both.

In the meantime, I busted out the trusty ol’ Tobeco Kayfun 4 clone.:thumb: (Yeah, had to speed-watch the Busardo vid again...) Nice, side-by-side with an Odyssey CLL - which is always in use as it’s the easiest and most convenient rebuildable ever!

what a weird day: Thanks to @DPLongo22 I was made aware of one of his favorite tanks (I forgot I even had one) found and ordered some rebuildable coils (which I didn't know were even a thing) and in my search for coils discovered this big ol' thread that I had no idea existed....(2015?? Really??) All of this in less than an hour!!

Well, a little late to the party, but here we go!
My old brand new never used Joyetech eGo ONE Mega
