hey now ! that's GREAT !!!!!!!!

you are on your way - make some custom coils for your own pleasure... :):):)

- - -

OK, what you mean your waiting for a tank to DRY ?????????????

give it a whip, then a shake, burst a couple blows into it and be done with it (waiting to dry ??)

a little water never hurt anything... there is just NO NEED (silly boy);)

if you really are concerned get a can of "CANNED-AIR"

:D :D :D
Thanks!
I am very patient with every thing (except myself).
I can wait till tomorrow to try my new coil.
Also have to do some mixing liquid tomorrow.

Okay time for good news,
I just rebuilt my first clr with a 1.8 ohm coil!!!
This is big for me because I have only rebuilt pt2 heads and that was a PITA!
These things are simple!
I have to wait to vape on it cause my tank is being dried out today.
But so far it looks promising!

OK - I'm not gonna drive up to Va just to kick ya in the back of the pants :pervy:

but when I read : " I have to wait to vape on it cause my tank is being dried "

made me think how much grief I can save you by steerin' you in a different direction - blow it out, put your eJuice in... (vape face off)

Puf i have to look but Thanks about the cap fix as 1 of mine v2 kept leaking , replaced o-ring,replaced coil head then just cleaned it out and set it aside i will try the plier trick to see if that helps.
I do recall knocking it over on desk a few times but thast about it maybe it jarred that cap and the plier trick may fix it if not big deal have plenty more .

Just checked there 50 in a pack for 2.23
On FT site searching O-RINGS on page 4

Thanks! What's the diameter again? I don't have my tank in front of me to measure and am unsure how to measure for o rings. Outside or inside diameter?

you'll be able to see the " lip " separated (gap between) I need to get a picture next time (happens quite often around here)

but I'd bet it's your coil - be sure it is screwed in TIGHT (and in all the way) and be sure the cap is ALL the way screwed down

the base should fit tight up against the tank (no gap) and if the coil sits to tall it won't allow it

if you think it is leaking THRU the coil, screw the flow control ring up to close it off some (experiment)

On a boat in So.CA
I'm three weeks into my first Ego One V2 and have to say I experience leaking with my CLR heads as well. I have been building faultless Pro Tanks coils for three years so I am not new to the game. Being a Tootle Puffer I like 1.8 to 2.0 ohm coils so I have been using the 1.0 CLR heads. My first coils were 2.5 I.D. with 30ga. 6/5 and cotton with a 50/50 mix. (So easy compared to the tiny P.T.) Good vapor, good flavor, no gurgling but at least once a day I would find a very wet finger/palm. I have been sure to tighten the coil with all my mite, inspected o-rings, turning the bottom ring up, ect. I then tried a tighter wick - no change. Arrr. My last build done yesterday, I went to wrapping around a #4-40 screw that has smaller I.D. This seemed to improve the leaking issue- time will tell. I am wondering if the width of the coil slot is such that a larger diameter coil/wick just holds too much fluid for low wattage vaping. The juice can't be burned fast enough and ends up dripping down into the air passages. Does this sound plausible ? I don't think I can go really much smaller in diameter w/o getting massive leaking around the
wick but I'll keep trying and report back. Later

Have you tried tightening up the juice flow ring a little? Maybe that'll help.

I get condensation / juice into the chamber below the coil on my Tron-S as well. I just figured it was the nature of the beast, and lived with it. I rebuild my CLRs about every 3 days or so. I cheat a little on my cleaning. When I have the coil out, for a rebuild, I leave the tank base sitting up on edge, so that all the liquid in the base, runs down to one side. I cut a thin strip of paper towel that fits in the hole and just stick it inside to soak up the liquid, while I rebuild the coil. It's not a textbook 'cleaning', but buys me some time. I rinse out the base every 4 or 5 rebuilds, and dry it out with an air compressor. I should do that more frequently, but I usually do my coil work in the late evenings / night, and the compressor in the basement makes such a racket that it wakes everyone else up..lol. The paper towel trick helps keep the peace.

I wind my coils on a 6 x 32 machine screw, which is just a tad bigger than 2.5 mm (5 wraps of 30 kanthal). It's wicked with rayon, and the juice control ring is fully open. I'm going to experiment more, with the juice flow ring and see if it helps reduce my condensation / juice build up, too. I've never had a dry hit on a CLR, so maybe I have enough leeway to squeeze the rayon a little.

A little side thought: I've never tried them, but have read about 'flavor wicks' laid over the top of coils. I wonder if that would help burn off some of the unburned juice that might be ending up below the coil?

I might give that a whirl, on my next rebuild.
