Hi there.

So I just want to make sure I have everything I need to vape here. I have a ton of RY4 from EC blends. I was using a tank system with Apollo TGO kit. Got a refund. Tired of the headaches.

I am interested in the Vision vivi nova 2.5 and the Ego c twist 1000mah battery or Ego 1000mah battery.

I am buying a Vivi Nova 2.5 here. GotVapes VISION ViVi NOVA™ 3.5ml V2.5 REBUILDABLE TANK [gv-VIVINOVA-TANKV2.5] - $14.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more $16

I would be buying the Ego Twist 1000mah battery from The Electronic Cigarette Super Store | myvaporstore.com for $28. Cheapest I have found.

OR

The Ego 510 1000mah battery from Welcome to MadVapes LLC for $16 discounted.

My question is, Which battery should I buy? I am going to buy the Vivi 2.5 regardless. I just want to make sure I buy everything collectively and all the connections are the right 510 threads and work right.

Feedback is appreciated.

vaping on a budget is essential.

BTW, you can get the eGo twist from altAmoke for $22.99, that's where I got mines from. AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | AltSmoke.com | eGo-C Twist Battery

I've been eye-balling that atty as well, I don't own one. I'm new to the VV market as well, I have the vTube from apollo ecigs, the stainless steel version Apollo VTube Kit that starts at $74.95, add $30 for stainless steel.

Main difference is the twist should last long, I haven't had to recharge it yet, but while charging you will be without an ecig (charging at night solves that) and it goes from 3.2 volts to 4.8 volts. Not a problem unless you find your "sweet spot" is over 4.8 volts. The vTube goes from 3 volts to 6 volts. I hardly go into the 5 volt range unless I'm using a 3 oHms atty, in which case 5.2 works for me for throat hit and flavor on menthol.

As an intro into VV, the Twist is the best choice, hands down as far as price goes. The vTube lasts about 12 hours for me, a former .75 to 1 pak a day smoker.

I have a 900 oHm eGo battery that last about 1 day and a half, but remember the VV nature of the twist will alter your battery life depending on the voltage you use, but I can't see it lasting for shorter that 12 hours, but that remains to be seen.

Dang. I wish check out Altsmoke. Thanks for the heads up.

Do you know if the Vivi 2.5 is a direct fit on the Ego Twist battery or would I need some kind of an adapter? I am comparing the pictures and it does not look like it would thread on with the fitting. But I am not sure. I want a Twist battery and a vivi 2.5. I just want to make sure I buy all the collect stuff. So when I get it in the mail I am able to screw and vape. without going" Sh^t. I forget to buy that piece you know.

Thanks for the reply.

To be honest, I don't think your gonna have any problems. It's a 510 thread, and looks like most tanks. I have the 6ml DCT from Dragonflyecigs 6ML Colored 510 DCT (Dual Coil Tank) Cartomizer MOD(1.5/2.0ohm) (6MLDCTCART) and they work just fine. Plus, when I watched the video at the bottom of the Vivi page, it looks like he is using an eGo battery, or it has the same head as an ego battery, so I don't see an issue there. I had the hardest time finding stuff that worked for me, but now I have an 1000mah twist and v2.5 nova tanks and my search is over. I found what works for me. I will say that the combo isn't exactly the most eye pleasing setup (my twist looks like it has a um mushroom tip...) but I found the combo that works without fail and keeps me off cigs.

If you order from altsmoke, they have a coupon for first time buyers...use FIRSTORDER as your coupon code and get 10% off. I ordered my twist from them. Super fast shipping and they are the only ones with colored batteries. I just ordered a second one from them...shipped same day as order.

oops, jsut saw you already orderd...sorry to be late with the info...maybe it will help someone else.

Twist can provide up to 2.5 amps I believe. At it's max 4.8V using the 2.4 ohm head, it only needs 2 amps. So, no problem.

You would get nothing but dry hits with a 2.4ohm head at 4.8v.
    The ViVi is a low voltage device, but it comes with three heads. (1.8, 2.4 and 2.8) The 2.8 is OK between 3.7 - 4.2v, 2.4 between 3.5 - 3.7v, and the 1.8 at 3.3 - 3.4v.
Point blank, if you are getting dry hits with a nova, turn the damn voltage down!

I don't understand the voltages. The Vivi Nova comes with a 2.4 head on it by default, but the Twist seems to have it's lowest setting above that. Wouldn't that cause issues or is it apples and oranges? Would there be any point changing the Vivi Nova heads once you have a twist?

As the ohms go up you'll find your sweet spot at a higher voltage, so using the 2.4 ohm head you'll find your sweet spot at a lower voltage than you would using the 2.8 ohm head.

Where that specific voltage is doesn't matter, it's preference and depends on many factors. No matter which head you use just start out low and keep turning it up a little at a time until you find your happy place, don't worry about numbers so much.

vapors choice has the ego c twist at $22.00. there is also a disco code but cant remember it plus shipping cost of course.

$19 for the 650, if size is an issue ($3 sure doesn't need to be an issue.) But most importantly to me, and why I'm bookmarking that, is they have the twist in colors besides black and stainless.
