Ego passthrough

Seen a vid on youtibe where the front flat tip of the ego battery screws off or a passthrough. When looking over my personal ego and the flat plate on the front dident screw off.

I guess underneither the front of the plate is a micro usb port for the pass throught.

Was this just an older ego? Cause I couse mine is new.

That is a different battery design which is available at several vendors here on ECF. I have one, it's nice because you can plug it to a mini USB connection, and use it plugged in, while it is charging. When you are ready to go, you can unplug it, put the cap on, and go with a full charge. Nice feature, most sites want $22-26 for it, I think cignot.com had the lower price.

I know, what would make me happy would be for them to make them mod style, so you can unscrew the cap, and change out the battery like on a MOD. The USB plug feature is nice though, since you don't have to remove your atty to charge. I hope the price goes down on them soon.
