I have a three week old eGo T type -B kit. One of the batteries is starting to get hot before the green light comes on the charger indicating it is charged. I have not ran down the batteries completely yet. I just charge them every day before they lose their charge.

Could this be from charging to soon. My other battery charges fine. I do not know what the batteries mah's are.

The total length of the battery measured tip to tip, With the atty off is 3-3/8" long.

Thanks

Take it off the charger and contact your vendor.

Charging early should be fine. Did you check the battery and charger threads for liquid?

Is this Joye or a clone? Do they have a warranty where you bought it? (like Liberty-Flights.com warrants Ego-T batteries for 2 months)

Does your other battery charge fine on the same charger? (BTW if you ever owned a 510-T, never ever use a 510-T charger to charge anything but a 510-T. And never use an FS510 charger to charge anything but FS510, Never use a Blu charger to charge anything but Blu)

And besides getting a new battery I recommend you also get a spare charging cable. I also recommend you buy real Joye brand. If you happen to shop at Liberty-Flights, press the 20% of upper left front page before shopping so you will see and get the lowered prices.

Yes, other battery charges fine. As far as I know it is all original Joye. I always clean the battery anode before screwing in to the charger...
