I am new to vaping, and I just got my first dry hits from my ego-t atomiser. That did not seem to take long. The dry hits taste yucky, and I wonder why.

Anyway, I tried blowing it out. That helped a little. But it still does not give a very good vape. There was a lot of gunk in there.

If I wash it out with water or alcohol can I heat it with the battery to evaporate that? Is there any risk of shorting it out? I don't want to take it apart, and I don't have the tools to do so, anyway. I also don't want to let it air dry for days.

I used the attys that came with my eGo-T for MONTHS without cleaning with no issues. (I didn't know any better. :))

I just cleaned mine for the first time a couple weeks ago. There was a bit of difference, but not much. I got a better result from getting soft caps for the tanks.

Even better results from getting a clearo.

Which juice you use will control how fast the wick clogs, thin/light colored juices don't clog as bad as "heavier" juices. I use the vodka bath method for my ego-c heads, Taking them apart helps, and is relatively easy, but an overnight soak and some swishing will work if you aren't comfortable taking them apart.

Shorting has not been an issue for me.

Also, I thought alot of my EGO-C atomizers were dead, the wicks were clogged. If the atomizer is getting warm, it will most likely be salvagable with a cleaning, at worst a rewicking.

Good luck!
