I bought my first Ego-T tank system in January, and both atomizers are still going strong. I do change my tank weekly when I clean the current atomizer. I figure it is cheap insurance against leakage, and a fresh tank will be a custom pierced fit for the second rotated atty. I only clean by soaking in near boiling water for 10-15 minutes, shake out excess water, and dry overnight. I rotate my two atties weekly after cleaning. When practical, I often rinse my tank between refills, blowing out the excess water. If I use straight Pg, I will sometines notice a small drop of leakage on top of the battery post when taken apart, but when I use my normal 70/30 or 95/35 mix, very very little to no moisture. I take long slow puffs, and will puff a newly filled tank a few times without pushing the button to prime. I vape 3 to 5ml daily with excellent vapor, good flavor and th. I think the important point is I don't tinker with anything including wicks, chads, etc. I use the tank system as it was meant to be used, straight stock. After reading of problem after problem, I thought I would post my methods and experience in the hope it might be helpful and useful to some of those with problems.

I also have the eGo-T's and have not experienced the broad range of issues that I hear people complain about. Funny you should say, I dont mess with it either unless it NEEDS to be messed with. But I also hot water rinse my atty's every evening after use.

I dont use them much anymore since I got a MAP tank, but I do love the eGo-T's as well, just the MAP tank holds enough juice to get me thru a whole day without fussing with it at all.

I'm also loving my ego-T and ONLY buy my hardware from cignot :^D. I've recently tried the LR atties and like them even better. I'm getting more vapor, more flavor. I don't know how long they'll last but for $11.00 I'll take my chances. Vicki had a good thought; since it can be hard to clean the T-atties because they are a closed system, maybe a little extra heat might be a good thing for them. I ordered 5 more after I fell in love w/ the first one. I'll post more when I've used it for longer than a couple of days!

I picked up an ego-T last week, also from Cignot... I've been mostly happy. It is consistent, reliable, and you can't go wrong with 1ml of fluid and a huge battery (I got the 1000mah). However, I do find myself sometimes looking for a much stronger draw i.e. better flavor and throat hit. No matter how much I prime nor how slow or fast I pull, it's always a pretty light vape - like I said, consistent.

I e-mailed Vicki at Cignot and she suggested I try the LR atty's for the T. I also mentioned that as I'm about to complete my conversion (still have half a pack of analogs, so I'm not fully switched yet) I want to make sure I have a backup so I'm covered in every eventuality. She suggested the 510: "the 510 is the steady eddie though... it is easy to use and clean and has great taste and vapor..."

So with my order for a couple of LR atty's, I added the no-box 510 kit. This way I'll have my eGo-T for out and about and most of the day vaping, then the 510 for leisure vaping at home, and enough hardware to get me through any unexpected failures.

P.S. Vicki at Cignot is amazing. I placed my order 25 minutes ago - and I just got the shipping notification!!

A lot of people experience muted flavors with the ego-t. And the vapor has a long way to travel before it gets to your mouth/throat, so it tends to be cool vapor. The LRs are a little warmer and it might be enough for you. The LRs do tend to improve flavor a little bit. But, it isn't that big of a difference. Stronger flavored juice is a good idea if you find the flavor isn't good enough for you. Several juice vendors have options for extra flavor (you can order double or triple flavor).

The 510 atty is a completely different experience than the tank. It produces a much more cigarette like experience, i think. The vapor is always warm and the 510 atty generally produces very good flavor. I always have a 510 atty and cart near by to satisfy cravings if I have any (I have fewer and fewer strong cravings as time goes by).

I love the the tanks reg and lr. I have only had one die on me since JAN. It was my first one. I got mine from Totally wicked and my freedomsomoke usa. I love them so much I got a adapter from avid vaper and bought a Buzz and they are awesome. Good Prophets is having a sale and both tank attys are $9.99

I just got a new tank in today's mail. The first one is still going, but taste is a little on the weak side after 5 or 6 weeks of daily vaping. I've removed the needle plate twice and washed it. Setting the wick height is an important adjustment, too.

The new one has excellent flavor and vapor. Maybe eventually the design changes will keep them going longer without dis-assembly and adjustments. The wicks move up and down as you press and remove the tank. I think the pressure and suction has a lot to do with the wick movement.

The tank system is by far the easiest and most hassle free filling system yet. No filler or foam to deal with on a daily basis.

Well shortly after my earlier post I had big troubles. My atty got real, real slow and I was in a bit of a pickle. Ended up visiting a local vendor (an ECF supplier!) I hadn't known about previously and they set me up with the 510 atty/tank kit which worked perfectly... it's the same size atty as the T, but uses the cartridge style wicking. Pretty much saved the day. My LR atty's came in today and they're better than the standards, but not as good as this other atty/tank kit I picked up.

So I'm now swimming in hardware, as it should be. I have about 3 layers of redundancy - 3 separate things would have to break before I'd have to consider some analogs.

Aha, thanks. I didn't want to put words in her mouth, so I figured I'd use the real ones... next time I will paraphrase and use more vague attribution...
