I'm not sure that there is yet a truly no-fuss system...

There is indeed, the Reo Grand. Huge battery, 6ml juice bottle, 510/306 threading, and fully mechanical so no wires and nothing to break - my Grand will outlive us all, it hits like a freight train every time with zero hassle.

I keep some 6ml bottles prefilled, and some charged batts. After a couple days I just slide the cover off, swap the batt and bottle, and I'm good for another couple days. So, 7 seconds every 2 days lololol.....ol.

I do have an eGo that I drip on occasionally, for fun and to try other flavours - it will soon be replaced by a bullet from Switched/HV/IKV with any luck (7mm).

@breakfast: Don't you just LOVE that juice? JC Green Tea ftw.

It's good! Maybe a little sweet for me but I definitely like it. I've been vaping the double double again and decided to keep it. I've found that I'm liking it a lot more now... I've still got the Iced Capp in the classifieds, though.

I have been using the ego T for a full day. So far so good.

1) Throat hit, flavour and vapor better than LR attys and LR cartomizers

2) Half filled tanks work better than fully filled or 3/4 filled tanks.

3) Seems to work better if you pop off the mouth piece end cap
(if you do this make sure you remove the hidden inner plate otherwise you will suck it into your mouth on your first vape).

4) I have noticed, juice that uses PG as the base works better than juices containing VG. (hint hint JC). I guess VG juices are just too thick for
proper wicking of this system. I get alot of dry vapes with VG juices. I have not had the same issue with PG juices.
Now to get around this problem with VG juices, I remove
the tank, rotate it and re-insert it. This seems to clear up the problem. Repeat as required.

So far I am sold on this system, the big test is how long will the atty last?

I haven't vaped my eGo-T since a tank of JuicyClear green tea (which is pretty clear to start with) was brown by the last 1/4 or 1/8th of the tank...anyone else have this happen?

There have been a few reports of this happening. And I have also noticed it on certain juices - others not so much. General school of thought is that the heat from the atty is "cooking" the juice a bit. I think the alarm about this is simply because it's visible; it's something new people have never seen before. Then again, you never get to see what the juice looks like in a standard cart. When you notice this happening, just top up your tank. (And again, vape a tank of flavourless every so often to keep your atty from getting gunked up by those cooking juices.)

There is indeed, the Reo Grand.

Ok fine. :p But it's not a device I could comfortably hold between my fingers, which is a dealbreaker for me.

Yeah I'll wait for your Ice Capp to sell before listing mine lol I don't like it one bit. To be fair I didn't order it, was sent by mistake.

You know, you could have mentioned that earlier. LOL

I also have removed the mouthpiece inserts on my tanks. It prevents the condensation from building up and reliquifying. Some people have removed the inner piece and put the outer piece back on (to prevent pocket lint or whatever from getting inside) and say the results are still as good. I happened to promptly lose all the mouthpieces, so haven't tried that yet.

Tests have shown - and the manufacturer recommends - that PG/VG ratio of no more than 70/30 is most effective. I have vaped 100% VG with no problems, but it was extremely clear and on the runnier side.

My first atty died at about the 1 month mark. BUT I was an idiot, and did an accidental dry burn... then followed that with a complete dry burn to get rid of the nasty. I don't recommend this. I DO recommend cleaning with unflavoured juice. (I think I've said that before. ;) )

Ok, I can honestly report that there ARE knock-off Tank systems on the market. Be very wary with your purchases. If carts don't fit flush, and if the atty doesn't thread flush to the battery, chances are it's not legit. I just tore one apart, this has no metal mesh wick in it at all, the atty coil is covered with a filler.

Legit Joye tank atty's and carts all fit flush together.

The fiber wick was directly wrapped by the coil, then goes through a cotton like reservoir right up to the chad.

Edit: Here are a couple pics.

The contents of the knock-off. Minus my custom built paper-clip lol

Also: the coil itself is only wound three times by the nichrome, I can't imagine that lasting long at all!

The atty torn apart was one of the two replacements Vapors Kitchen shipped me for the defective one a day prior. All of which were not a legit Joye product as claimed.

I finally had an atty completely die last night. one of my originals. the black stuff was half off the outside. my khalua atty. I got one vape, taste was off, took a second and nothing. won't even warm up. the only other one had problems I took apart the wick and use it for dripping and still works but no saving the last one. it's seen a lot of abuse, improper cleaning methods, dry burns many times (changing flavours and uninformed vaper making all the mistakes)... not too bad all in all considering that.

One week in today. Still has the same great flavor and TH that it did a week ago. I did notice the flavor getting a bit bland, but at the same time, the pull was getting tough. I gave the atty a blow out (and covered the bottom mosfet to blow out the air inlets) then dripped a couple drops of liquid down the slots on either side of the wick through the top to prime. Working great again!

    Overall, happy customer lol

I just bought the Joye EGo-T from Vapors Kitchen... you're telling me they're knock offs???

Seriously. It shouldn't be this hard for a noobie to start vaping.

I feel your pain Concat. I bought the Green Smoke as my first device and couldn't have been any more displeased with it. I have never bought hardware from VK but after seeing those pictures it appears the eGo-T's are in fact knock offs.

It surprises me because the Chef really is a good guy from my experience, but I can't stand behind shotty products or cheap reproductions that have no perceptible draw.

If you contact him and ask to swap the eGo-T for some juice he might go for it. I just suggest to stay away from the "Arctic Fruit Tobacco" flavors and steer clear of the root beer as well. The Peanut Butter Banana was excellent and so was Amaretto Tobacco and Tango Tobacco.

Well son of a.... haha. It already shipped, so I dunno. Hopefully the starter kit is indeed genuine. Not like I'm going to know the difference, but I'll check for proper fit as Hexy pointed out. The price was right anyways.

I also ordered: Licorice, Cherry Tobacco, Creme de Menthe, Grapefruit, Coffee&Chocolate. All med strength.

Perhaps I'll post my thoughts on the flavors when I try them out.

Well I am on my 2nd ego-t atty now. The first one I broke the coil by trying to adjust the wick after it started leaking after about 3 weeks. The second one is a little older then 3 weeks and leaks as well. I only fill and use the ego-t when I am sitting at home or in my office now, as I can't stand it leaking in my pocket when I am travelling.

I do like this product and have tried different tanks from different batches (blue and white), but same leaking issues. I do find the blue tanks have a better seal and I fill them by popping off the cap.

But for the hit and flavour I much prefer this atomizer over the regular atomizers, even with the leaking issues. I just try and be careful and always rest it vertical after vaping with the battery end up or elevated.

I just ordered my 3rd ego-t atomizer and will be attempting a wick adjustment on my 2nd one when I get a chance.

If the tank cartridges have rubber bottoms on them (not the rubber caps that go on to transport them, but the bottom of the cart itself), chances are it's not legit. The whole knockoff system I'm sure fits together well, the only reason I noticed the atty's weren't legit was because they didn't thread onto the legit eGo battery nice and flush. And my legit tank carts don't plug in the whole way.

If in doubt, take some pics and I'm sure one of us can help you determine it's legitimacy.

My first model was an m401 rip-off, so it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of us made some mistakes off the get-go, but now you're on here, so you can be sure this won't happen again. Ask lots of questions about anything you're unsure of, everyone here is more than helpful.

Get a blunt syringe to fill the tanks with, the end caps may not snap on tight after a while of popping them off. Also be sure to leave a millimeter or two of air in the tank.
