would the knock off have ego-t printed on the atomizer and battery?

Knock-Offs of these systems like the many other knock-offs of other products floating about, could very well be labeled as real parts. Depending on where you ordered from, more so than others. My stuff from NFN is legit. And parts purchased from Happy Vapor and eVapers are all legit to.

I do have to say, my second week with the same atty has required a good blow out (while covering the mosfet port, to clean out the air inlets), alcohol rinse and bath and wiping down the inside of the atty's top needle plate area as sometimes when liquid scales the walls, I find the draw a bit tough (like the liquid clogs the small air slots on the cart). Changing up carts made a difference with a bit of seeping.

How's yours working for you Noiz? Any other tips to get a weathered atty back to par?

Edit: My luck with CP has run out... Ordered two bottles from JC and two tank atty's from NFN last Sunday, nothings checked in at the Mississauga location yet, looking like Monday (fingers and toes crossed)

    What is a mofset port?

The "liquid" that climbs the walls is condensation and happens with all attys and cart combination to some extent or another. A periodic wipe of the inside with a tissue alleviates this problem. Allowing condensation to remain will often lead to leakage, or liquid in the mouth, which is not liquid perse but flavoured condensation in the mouthpiece. Remove both plugs and wick with a tissue, and you are good to go.

Yep, I believe that is the same one. Just a different product but should be labeled as such IMO.

Noticed on cdnvapor's site that they sell the Bauway iTank and they mention that they have the version 2 release which fixes leakage and wicking issues. That's gotta be a good thing.

    Here's a video link...

There's no mistaking the Bauway iTank kit he's selling for a Joye kit :2cool:

For those of you who haven't followed my other thread where I cry like a baby over buying the Ego-T from Vapors Kitchen, it should be known that I've emailed them twice concerning their claim that it is a Joye product. Both times they assured me it was, and that they deal with "Frank Chur" from joyetech, who is indeed listed on the Joytech website here, under contact info: Electronic Cigarette, E-Cigarette, Elektronische Zigarette, Cartridge, eZigar

I've emailed them to see if VK's claim adds up. They never did reply to a previous inquiry I sent them, so don't hold your breath.

I don't understand, the JoYe website says that the eGo-T kit comes with 650 mAh batteries, but most places I have seen are selling them with the 1000mAh batteries?

when a supplier makes a order they can have custom kits made with larger mah battery's or different atomizers ect.

Bauway iTank is not a joye product and is Bauways own tank atomizer and Cartridges

Joyetech sell Ego-t 650mah batteries and also 1000mah batteries both have Ego-t labeled on the battery and also their regular batteries that are blank the difference is the ego-t batteries have the 5 click on and off.

Well it almost sounds like the batteries are real, but the silicone cap to the tanks are very different as the iTank uses silicone. I am not sure what is going on tbh. I just know it doesn't seem legit and seems a bit fishy. My eGo-T battery does have a cut off as well (about 10 seconds), and the 5 click on off as well but is a white light compared to blue.

I am not sure if the iTank and eGo-T would really perform much differently or have better QC compared to each other or not, but this VK shipment still sounds kind of funny.

An update from this part of the country:
I've been vaping for 2 and a half months on the same Tank Ego-T atomizer, and it's still going strong. It's even fallen out of my pocket onto cement a couple of times while attached to the battery, so it's got a few dents and scratches, but it still works like new. I haven't cleaned it at all, I have just blown it out a couple of times. I've been vaping hard on it too, constant vaping for up to 12 hours at a time on most days. I'm really impressed with these things.

My atties say eGo T but that is because I bought the eGo T atties. My batts are regular 900mAh JoyE eGo batts because I did not want the clicky. There is no cut off on the 900mAh Batts. 15 secs is all I dare hold the button down for in the name of science.

I believe this is only for eGo-T batteries specifically because it blew me away that they have a cut off. None of my other eGo batteries have this feature as far as I know and vaping for 15 seconds would blow the top of my head off, lol. I would take one for the team and vape it for science though :)

I removed my atty and held the button to see if this cut off was perhaps the device getting low on power under load, still roughly 10 seconds in the button flashes and turns off. My guess is that this is a secondary safety feature just in case you do forget to turn your eGo-T off.
