ego t vs. ego t-rex

Learning lots about ego t..... almost ready to purchase
Then I hear about T-rex..........
Ummmmm what is difference between these two?

t-rex is just a ego with a different name, i have a set, no tank

T-rex in a standard eGo type of kit. It's just named for the "tyrant lizard", but DOES NOT utilize the tank system.

Is the voltage different between the 2?? A freind of mine picked up a t-rex and claims it's 4.2 volt. I tried his but did not notice any difference in vapor, hit, or anything using juices i have been running through my ego.
