... I usually get the low vapor for a very short time before it cutsoff and it is hard to tell whether it is low voltage or low juice in the cart at the time.

That's the way it works with my Go-go's. The last couple of minutes of batt life I get low vapor. I don't know if it's refill time or almost-dead battery time. Then the Go-go goes blinky and the question is resolved. It's recharge time.

In my pre-Go-go days it was never a question. After 3 hours of vaping my KR808 auto battery would give me a couple of low vapor drags and then go blinky. With the Go-go ... I get used to a couple of days or so of vaping and am always surprised when it finally needs recharging. The remaining Go-go in my pocket ... always carry two so I can instantly switch between flavors ... goes blinky within 10 -15 minutes after the first one goes down.

After 10 weeks of Go-going ... I still can't quite believe how good this thing is.

You are fast Rainbowz!:2cool:

I have been kicking around getting another kit as one of my batteries is flaky but was hesitant to order another one until they got the kinks worked out. But when Bill said he had a kit that worked flawlessly, I couldn't pass it up. Plus I just happened to be on ECF at the exact right time...

Thanks again Bill! :)

I am only on 3 or 4 weeks with mine. I am starting to loose count. However today was the first day that it blinked on me 10 times. Just before that I was having problems getting vape from the cartos and the taste was terrible. I thought wow, I thought I just filled this cartos. So I tried filling it again (didn't take much before overflow) then the next thing I know the 10 blinks.

Frankly that has been the most eventful time I have had with mine since purchase. I get real lazy and let the battery terminal get wet so I have a role of toilet tissue next to my computer to wipe off the terminals on refill :p

I have to admit my nightly refill ritual is an exciting time. I get out the good ol'syringe, pump it full of liquid. Wipe and good to go.

OK, bear with me, here. Pull your carto off the battery and clean the contacts very well with the end of a paper towel and then clean the battery end of the carto. See if your button works normal then. Process of elimination, you know. :) When I did this the first time my battery stsrted firing again like it should. Stsarted acting up again and I cleaned the posts again and it was fine for a while. You would be surprised how much gunk came off on the towel when I cleaned it.

Oh I've cleaned em a few times already. I know that's not it. The button on that one just rotates easy & a large amount. It's not that big a deal really just annoying on that one battery. I know it's the button cuz I've gotten pretty fast at wiggling it back into place when I get a zero hit. :)

Sounds like you have a bad button switch. I would send it back and get another one.

Your really likeing that Igo instead aren't you Bill?
What makes it better ?
Just curious.

I wouldn't go so far as to use the word "better".

The IGO may not be for everyone, but it is for me.

Some of the things that I like about the IGO:

1.) The fact that I can kill off all my KR808 cartomizers without an adapter.

2.) The fact that the battery and cartomizers last me all day. (like the GO-GO).
I am a "chain" vaper after smoking cigarettes for 53 plus years. 3 packs a day for the last 7.

3.) The ease of filling cartomizers using the "Q-TIP" method (like the GO-GO).

4.) The fact that it uses a cone type cartomizer. (unlike the GO-GO).

5.) The fact that the cartomizers come with a soft "t-tip" (unlike the GO-GO).

6.) The slimmer 1100 mah battery. (Like the GO-GO, it lasts me all day)

7.) For me, the vapor and throat hit are as good as the GO-GO.
even with the kr808 cartomizers

8.) Most of all I like the easy draw without all the noise and air. Just like puffing on a real cigarette, (unlike the GO-GO).

The only thing I don't like about the IGO is the fact that it is NOT GOLD. It is silver.

I like the GO-GO's, but for me, given a choice, I'll pick up the IGO everytime.

Like I said before the IGO may not be for everyone, but it is everything I want.

Now how am I going to get rid of my last 3 GO-GO batteries, 2 cones and 40 cartomizers without giving them away so I can get another IGO and "NO" $150.00 will not get it shipped to you..

Here is a picture of my IGO with a kr808 cartomizer, "drip tip" and a ego cone that will just screw on the IGO without any mods.:

Ya Know Bill, That is the most important thing of all. It fits YOU, it works the way YOU want it to work, it fits YOU, and it keeps YOU from smoking analogs. Nothing anyone can say can change those four facts. I am just happy as a clam in sand when someone finds a PV that fills all four of those aspects. For me it is the GO GO, but that there iGO looks darned nice the way you got it set up.

Just giving the gogo nation my weekly report. Cleaned out ten gocarts using the method described in the guide. Picked two at random for current use. One I know was on it's second cleaning and one other. They both filled up full and work very well with no loss of flavor or vapor that I can tell. I did notice that the one that had been cleaned twice, took slightly less juice as the other one. I think that multiple cleanings may compress the filler slightly but the jury is out on that conclusion. when I first got the gogo I kinda went nuts trying different juices and had a lot of carts, half full of juice i didn't care for. They all seem to have washed out clean. I've found that not using the kitchen hose sprayer at full blast works better at cleaning old juice than higher water pressure. Higher water pressure tends to compress the filler. I suck on the battery ends of the carto to see it there is any taste of old flavor. If there is, I continue the process. Now I'm down to two cartos on two gogos and I've been sticking to the same juice and topping them off every other day. I want to see what the life of these are just using them as they were intended. I do all my tasting and back up flavors in a riva 510.

I want to remove the filler from one of the cartos and cut some away as Les has suggested and see if that vapes 100% sweet VG better. I'm also going to do an off the wall experiment with one carto today where I shave the battery end of a carto just slightly to see if that narrows the air holes and provides a better draw. The trick is to shave it even across the face so it screws back on and gives an even fit. I'll put the file in the vice and shave with the carto rather then the carto in the vice and shave with the file. I'll give an update on this when I've finished trying it out.

Rotating 4 Nhaler batts and every one has worked flawlessly with no button or charging problems. Every carto I started with is still working. That's my report, guys and gals. Have a great week.

OK, I placed a 1" metal file in a vice, lengthwise and flat. I swiped the battery end of a full go cart down the length of the file four times, rotating the gocart 90 degrees after each swipe. I made sure the gocart was flat on the file before each swipe. This cut the four square airvents in the tip of the gogo down to half their openings. The draw is substantially nicer and the hissing is gone. I don't recommend every one try this on every go cart but it does point to a manufacturing improvement that could be made to tighten up the draw on the gogo unit and if some of the handy people have an old cart they could try it themselves to verify my findings. It actually works very well. Make sure you clean the end of the cart well afterwards as metal filings will probably kill a cart quick. I'll see if this mod shortens the life of the cart in any way but right now the draw on this cart is perfect for my taste. With this mod there is more flavor, more vapor and less air.

The Go-Go just got smarter!

Just caught this over at CigEasy:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cigeasy/180221-go-go-just-got-smarter.html

" The Go-go just got Smarter!

3 quick clicks of the button turns off the Newest Go-go's. 3 more clicks turns it back on and you are good to GO!
No more worries it might activate in your pocket or purse!

It seems the Go-go button was designed from the beginning to be more than just a give me power switch and communicates directly with the on-board computer chip and explains why the Go-go needs the occasional REBOOT.

If your Go-go gets out of sink and you get occasional misfires just run it down till you get the multiple flash signal that it's time to recharge. The chip Reboots when charging and you are good to Go.

The on and off option was not expected to be ready in this release and it was a pleasant surprise that I discovered while testing the batteries before shipment. The instruction sheet had not been updated yet but all the Go-go's that went out this weekend are the Smarter Go-go's!

SSV2's detailed review of the Go-go should be coming out very soon but every time he thinks its ready more info or questions arise!

Happy Vaping!
