I had one do that at the very beginning. It turns out it wasn't really charged all the way because at that point I hadn't sanded the charger all the way down. I think you need to make sure the charger has enough oomph so it handles the load so your car doesn't melt down. I say oomph because I don't know whether I'm supposed to say voltage or wattage or amperage or something else, lol.

Had my go-go now for 18 days. Friday one of my batteries simply just died. It will not activate, or charge.
The first day I used this same battery, it was acting very weird - would cut in and out. However, after charging it again it worked just fine......for 16 days.

Contacted cigeasy and his reply was that he had never ever heard of a bad battery due to a manufacturing defect. That he would have to get it in the shop to determine why it doesn't work. I thought this was a very strange reply.

Thoughts?

You did the 3 button activate/deactivate? Just asking as I have one that likes to turn itself off occasionally.....

I had one do the same thing (not charge or function) - first gen - it's at nhaler for evaluation and I assume replacement if they ever get more in. Have not heard either way.

I started having more problems with my batteries over time. i finally gave in and filed off the end of my charger and that solved all my charging problems.

Other than that I have 2 other problems and they are mine not the vendors/manufacturers.

1. I have a tendency to top off the cartos with too much liquid causing the battery terminals to get wet. So I am constantly wiping them off.

2. It has been trial and error trying to clean them. My current method is to use a syringe and inject everclear into them , boil them for 3 minutes in tap water, then taryn spin them. Then let sit for a couple of hours. Then because I know they aren't completely dry I purposely put to much liquid in them to the point that I see the water turn color (indicating to me that I have over saturated and hopfully pushed out most of the moisture from the tap water).

re: cleaning - what have you tried that has not worked well for you?

stabbie sounds like the center post has been pressed down to far so it will not make connection between the battery and the cart.see it you can pull the center post up a little bit do not pull on it hard just a lite pull to bring it back up a tiny bit some times the post will stick down.had one of the reg cart,s that pushed the post down to far so that one went in the trash can

@madmach, yea I checked the center post.

BUT! Here is an update.....
I used the wall charger rather than the USB on my puter and it started charging this morning. I got the red light.
As a matter of fact this began because I started having issues with my other battery charging the last few days. It would only charge enough to give me half a day's use no matter how long I left it on the charger. And last night I plugged it in to the USB and only got an orange light so I decided to try the wall adapter and it went red and started charging.
This was after I had been using the USB port to charge both batteries for the past 3 weeks (or whatever) ever since I got the go-go without any issues.
Now suddenly it APPEARS that the USB is just not good enough for the go-go batteries.

I will update tonight when I get home and see if my "bad" battery is working again.

I have no idea at this time why suddenly the USB port would stop charging my batteries correctly. I have used my USB for all of my other batteries without any issues.
(And still using the USB to charge my ego batts without any problems.)

Synopsis: USB charging appears to have stopped working for my go-go batts. Must use wall adapter.

I'm sure you will find it is the post in the charger that needs to be pulled out just a tiny tiny bit that is causing your problem.

My review on the Go-Go:

After reading the various reviews, then watching the one vid I found,I really wasn't sure if I would like this unit; I bought two kits to give this a try:

Batt: I had read about the connections,so I made sure that the batts would all charge. There was one battery out of the 4 that just wouldn't charge after doing troubleshooting with cigeasy, but I sent that one back for them to investigate the issue. From what I understand, these aren't just any battery, but indeed, are quite advanced. This is probably why they suggest if there are problems with them and not the connection or other trouble shooting issues are tried,to send them back,so they can investigate it. I also know that these can be reset, and I had to do with one of my batts, and it works fine now,so make sure to read your sheet for troubleshooting before you begin even charging your batt's. I don't know if there are other batteries out there that have a computer like component about them, but I was so pleasantly surprised at the length they lasted and their unmistakable power while vaping. I have to say these batts. are quite impressive and appear to be much more advanced than the typical eGO.

Vaping: Loving it!!! is all I can say. I know there are many on here who say they are airy. Yes,I can hear a swoosh, but I think the term "airy" is just not any where close to what I am experiencing. My first time vaping the only way I could describe it is that it was as if the juice's vape was being propelled by the battery and carto...wow! I was just so impressed! At times, I even have tighter draws, but all of them are wonderful! I am so impressed that I can't say enough about how unusual this device is. I certainly wouldn't let the "airy" descriptions stop you from trying this very sophisticated unit. I also think that the tip(cartidge) used may make this HUGE difference, because what I've read from some of these postings is just not anything close to what I'm experiencing! The ones I have can be pushed in a bit and tighten the draw. I've actually had to loosen the tip to try to allow for more air to flow through my carto,so I know this is totally different from what others have posted, but this is my own experience, and it is beyond everything I imagined it to be. The difference may just may be something to the kind of tip one uses, since I can't imagine how different of an experience I'm having compared to some of the reviews I've read. I find this unit to be a SOLID contender to my beloved eGO and REO GRAND!

cartos: I love them! First of all,I really suggest getting a syringe or a pipette to fill these! Let them sit and absorb,so do it slowly,as I have found that really makes a difference. These cartos are some of the easiest to fill from the others I've seen and also from those I've used. There is absolutely no leakage, and I'm good to go without any refills for over a solid day of chronic vaping without having to touch this unit-that is another wow factor to this unit! After using two cartos, I started allowing the cartos to get lower before refilling it and have found that it has made the carto last much longer. The first two I used,I only used them for 4-5 days, but NOW,I'm going on two weeks, and it is still going strong! The consistency is pretty wonderful, too. There are times that the flavors seem to not come through, but then I continue vaping, and it comes back as if it is totally new again.I am very impressed compared to the eGO cartos that used to get burned after the 3rd refill, and they were done and never the same. These cartos can't compare to the ego ones, and those ce'2,3 or 4 thingys.I would like to get the 808 adapter,so that I can try some other ones,as well, but I'm very happy with what I have.

voltage: I have not tested these myself, but from what I understand, the batt.,fresh off the charger is 4.2 volts and goes down eventually to about a 3.82 volt. The cartos,I believe, are 2.3ohm from where I purchased mine which was cig easy.

cleaning cartos: I haven't gotten to this point yet but will report on this when the time comes.

For those out there who are on the fence about these devices or are excluding them because of some of these postings- I would reconsider. I had to write this for the sake of others. BTW,this is my very first review,so I just hope it will help some of you making the decision to seriously consider this intriguing e-cig!
