any word on possible new features with this batch....
Nothing new that I'm aware of just the same ol awsome Go-Go. It will be hard to improve on other than coming with a whistle tip and maybe some different colors for the Go-Go Girls.
Had my go-go now for 18 days. Friday one of my batteries simply just died. It will not activate, or charge.
The first day I used this same battery, it was acting very weird - would cut in and out. However, after charging it again it worked just fine......for 16 days.
Contacted cigeasy and his reply was that he had never ever heard of a bad battery due to a manufacturing defect. That he would have to get it in the shop to determine why it doesn't work. I thought this was a very strange reply.
Thoughts?
You did the 3 button activate/deactivate? Just asking as I have one that likes to turn itself off occasionally.....
I started having more problems with my batteries over time. i finally gave in and filed off the end of my charger and that solved all my charging problems.
Other than that I have 2 other problems and they are mine not the vendors/manufacturers.
1. I have a tendency to top off the cartos with too much liquid causing the battery terminals to get wet. So I am constantly wiping them off.
2. It has been trial and error trying to clean them. My current method is to use a syringe and inject everclear into them , boil them for 3 minutes in tap water, then taryn spin them. Then let sit for a couple of hours. Then because I know they aren't completely dry I purposely put to much liquid in them to the point that I see the water turn color (indicating to me that I have over saturated and hopfully pushed out most of the moisture from the tap water).
@madmach, yea I checked the center post.
BUT! Here is an update.....
I used the wall charger rather than the USB on my puter and it started charging this morning. I got the red light.
As a matter of fact this began because I started having issues with my other battery charging the last few days. It would only charge enough to give me half a day's use no matter how long I left it on the charger. And last night I plugged it in to the USB and only got an orange light so I decided to try the wall adapter and it went red and started charging.
This was after I had been using the USB port to charge both batteries for the past 3 weeks (or whatever) ever since I got the go-go without any issues.
Now suddenly it APPEARS that the USB is just not good enough for the go-go batteries.
I will update tonight when I get home and see if my "bad" battery is working again.
I have no idea at this time why suddenly the USB port would stop charging my batteries correctly. I have used my USB for all of my other batteries without any issues.
(And still using the USB to charge my ego batts without any problems.)
Synopsis: USB charging appears to have stopped working for my go-go batts. Must use wall adapter.[/QUOT
I'm sure you will find it is the post in the charger that needs to be pulled out just a tiny tiny bit that is causing your problem.
