I just had another cart stop working well (4th one) . I began using it monday.
I have topped it off every morning. Just now, it got dry and tastes peppery and bad like
all the others. (these are pre-filled from cigeasy, are they not fully filling them?)

What I have noticed is the filler is the same level as the straw in the middle when new.
when they begin to have a problem with wicking ,the filler has sunk down about 3/8 of an inch.
That's when I know I'm stuffed.

I have not been able to keep a carto working good for more than 3 days it seems.

The one I just refilled (til one drop came out) is not wicking like it was yesterday.

If I can't successfully clean them for re use...fine. If i can only get a months use...fine.

but this 3 day only thing is frustrating as hell.

No matter what I try the juice is just not getting to the coil.

When I would top them off in the morning I did 25 drops as suggested, perhaps
thats just not enough and I need to top off until a drip occurs.

It would seem I'm drying them out and destroying the ability for them to wick ever again.

I have been doing that also. The juice just goes straight through the filler.
It's not really holding any of it. I am using all PG based liquids and holding the carto at an angle, dripping
only on the filler so it doesn't go down the middle straw.

What I have not done, is topped off a brand new cigeasy pre-filled carto. They do appear pretty dry on top.
But they do work for at least a day before needing any juice.

I don't understand how it is I've been reading and following what to do in the gogo threads and yet I can't get more than 3 days use before the wicking ends.

The heart of the issue seems to be that the liquid is not holding itself to the filler and wicking to the inner filler.

I used an ego for year prior to this, I'm new to cartomizers but I can't imagine it is complicated.

on my last new carto (have 5 more on the way) straight out of the package, I was able to give it 20 drops until the drip occurred.

I will fill it again in the morning until I get a drip indicating its full. I'm really hoping that the issue was, priming the filler.
The only other thing i can think of is some sort of defect on the first batch i ordered.
